Mason's Root Beer Drive In

It's that time of year again! Mason's is up and running for the season.

You can get a burger, fries and a drink for about the same cost as going to McDonald's or Burger King, however Mason's is better.

I like their burgers and the root beer. They staff is nice and courteous too!

Great place to have a quick lunch or order to go.

It was like going back to the 50's. Car hops and all.

Great coneys and rootbeer. The rest is ok. Typical mass produced food. Not much if any is home made. Fries used to be a crinkle cut which were really good. Now they use a bland batter coated shoe string fry. Still a good place to go for nostalgia and a quick bite. The ice cream is excellent.

The food here is very good and I would recommend it to anyone. I like the drive up experience. My only issue with this place is the reaction of the waiters if you choose not to tip. I had one of the ladies roll her eyes at me after choosing not to tip and just walked away without saying anything. I understand that tips are nice but this is still fast food after all and tipping should not be expected, and customers who choose not to shouldn’t have to deal with poor service because of it.

I am been a place like that.That's the coolest since I was a kid Root beer and Coney dogs are excellent.

I visited Washington a lot as a child. My my grandmother lived there. Bertha Alvis. I visited a lot. We would go to Mason's a lot. Would get rootbeer floats. Great memories

They no longer serve root beer in frosty mugs. Misleading to claim this. Pandemic is over.

Portion sizes were VERY disappointing, about half what I expected for onion rings and the price. They were very good, but just small. Burgers are also small and average at best. Ate both and was still very hungry. Decent root beer, good ice cream, good service. Small parking for larger sun or pickup trucks.
