It’s rare to find a coffee place that has good drinks, food, atmosphere, AND service, but Hattie’s hits the mark on all levels. The staff are so kind, the space is incredibly cute, and they always have fun seasonal menus that taste delicious. Such a cozy spot!

Hattie’s Coffeehouse is an absolute gem. The coffee is amazing — I got two toasted caramel lattes, and they were perfect. I also grabbed a pumpkin chocolate chip scone that my girlfriend loved! Even though the place was packed (I went around 11 am in a Saturday), the service was excellent and the wait time was surprisingly short. The staff was super nice and friendly, and the decor gives off such a cozy, welcoming vibe.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area — this place is hard to beat!

Very good food, kind of a long wait but understandable given the number of people. Asked politely to if I both the coffees I ordered were captured on the order or just one. They confirmed it was. But once the second coffee was completed the employee making my order said, “just a second too slow for you huh?” When handing me my order.

Food was high quality, savory. Breakfast burrito, cappuccino, and scone were all home made quality and appropriate price for the portion size.
Way better than Aspasia coffee shop.

There is absolutely nowhere else that I would rather get my coffee! Hattie's is very warm and welcoming. The staff is incredible, the food is great, and the coffee is the best. Make sure to grab some merch and a breakfast burrito!
I was blown away at how fantastic this little hideaway is. My daughters and I went there on labor day, and I can't tell you how impressed we all. The food was very good and it was so fun to sit at the table and drink our coffee and play a card game they had on the table. It literally made my Labor Day. It was such a great place. We will definitely be coming back time and time again. Now, the downside that I could say is that there it's not a lot of parking spaces. But it doesn't matter to me. I'm still coming back even if I have to circle the block a few times

This is a cute place. But we won't be back. We had an odd experience purchasing two coffees. Our total was $15 which my husband paid. But I questioned that amount. The cute little lady who took our order didn't quite understand right away that the AMT was too much. I told her I did the math in my head. She responded that the machine does the math and that she have is our change. Again I told her $15 was wrong and I asked what happened. Finally she checked and realized she'd charged us for three coffees. She asked how many we ordered. Well just 60 seconds earlier she took our order of two coffees . She saw the two of us standing there. I don't understand how she could have been so confused. She was sweet and gave me a refund along with apologies.
Also I've been to coffee shops that offer $1 or $2 refills. But not here.

My three year old daughter and I love our Hatties dates. She is crazy about their cinnamon roll and I love their chai and London fog. They also have really delicious seasonal drink menus as well. We would go every morning if we could.

Love stopping in here periodically for a good cup of joe. The inside setup is very nice. The only con is sometimes the music can be a little too loud.

From Disappointment to Lifelong Loyalty – Hattie’s Knows Customer Service
As a 25-year veteran of the service industry, I’m not easily rattled when something goes wrong. Things happen—it’s almost expected. Even in restaurants I managed for years, despite our best efforts, mistakes happened. unfortunately, our brains tend to remember the moments when things went wrong more vividly than when they went right. Ironically, in my own experience, the customers who became my most loyal “raving fans” were often the ones I’d made a mistake with.
That brings me to my recent visit to Hattie’s. My wife and I love their chai tea lattes—it’s honestly the only thing we’ve ever ordered there. From what I have heard they source their chai syrup locally from a woman who makes it from scratch, and whatever her recipe is, it’s pretty amazing. If this is not true, either way they are pretty good:)
Today, I stopped in alone to get some work done and ordered a dirty chai tea latte. The bubbly young woman at the counter took my order, then came back a minute later, apologizing sincerely—they had just run out of chai. She offered to refund my money and give me whatever I wanted, on the house.
As a business owner myself, I didn’t expect a free drink. Hattie’s is there to make money so I never really expect free anything. Still, her kindness really turned my mood around. I took an iced coffee, found a spot, and settled in to work.
About 30 minutes later, another young woman—just as friendly as the first—came over and said, “You seemed so excited about that chai latte, so I wanted to let you know—it was just delivered, in case you still want one.” I was already buzzing from the iced coffee, so I passed, but that little gesture sealed the deal.
In that moment, I became not just a fan of their chai tea latte, but of Hattie’s itself. It’s one thing to have great employees; it’s another to have a company culture that brings out their best. I’m not sure a big chain would have gone out of their way like that—or if they did, it wouldn’t have felt so genuine.
Hattie’s took a moment of disappointment and turned it into a memorable experience. So, thank you to both young women for making my day brighter. You’ve got a customer for life.
Eat local? Sure. But maybe even better—drink local.
Their customer service is beyond compare.

this place has been around for almost a year and i had never gotten the chance to try it. a few friends have told me it’s not much to rave about, but i was just pleased to know there’s a place i can eat when i don’t feel like driving all the way into town! so today, i went in for the first time. i was told their matcha wasn’t very good — which i typically get — so i steered a different direction as i wanted a good first impression. i was with family and ordered a blueberry muffin, a plain & blueberry bagel w cc, a californian with no sauce (as it was spicy & it was for my nephew who couldn’t have our bagels w cc since he cannot have milk/most dairy), and i also tried to order a burrito with no meat which could not be done either because the burritos were pre packaged (this is pretty common in cafes, but i had to shoot my shot and try!). we also got a light roast coffee and attempted to get a dirty chai. they were out of chai, so i got a vanilla latte instead. as we sit down, we are asked if they can top the 1/3 filled cup that has light roast, with dark roast because they ran out. also, the californian had the sauce on it. we were not aware and gave our 1 year old nephew a piece of the sandwich, to which he spit out (because it had the sauce on it & was too spicy for him). we ended up scraping off nearly all the bacon and tomates since they were covered with the spicy sauce. the ladies behind the register were dealing with a line, so we didn’t want to bother them to remake anything. after our diy, my nephew ended up with avocado toast basically haha. the food and drink we did get correctly were mostly good. the vanilla latte tasted more like a standard latte, rather than a vanilla one — which was slightly upsetting since it was a $1 upcharge for flavored syrup. i thought the bagels were flavorful & chewy! i really liked the texture of both the bagel & cc!! my mom wasn’t too impressed with her plain bagel, though. i also thought the blueberry muffin was also flavorful & moist and i loved the crumbly pieces on top. the prices were your standard small business prices, which are usually pricey. i am usually okay with buying slightly expensive things from small businesses, as they’re usually made with more love & we wanted to support a small local business. however, i don’t think get got what we paid for. i will say, the owner and employees were nice. the atmosphere was cute and nicely decorated. it was kind of loud since they were pretty full, even on a random thursday morning. it may not just be some people’s cup of tea, but surely seems to be others’! they had a lot of places to sit, even some outside. overall, it was sn okay experience. they are still a very new business, so trial and error is natural. it’s hard to say if ill be back. i’m sure they’ll improve as time goes on and feedback is given. as they improve, i may give it a second shot. overall, id say 3 1/2 stars.

Hattie's is our favorite spot! I love grabbing a cortado and a pop tart, and my kids can't get enough of the playground. The flower garden and fresh bouquets are such a lovely touch. This place is a staple in the community, and I'm always happy to support such a great small business!
