Incredible selection of house brews, dark and brooding, clear and refreshing, a menu with ideas executed correctly, I couldn't make up my mind! Sampled their world winning Octoberbest, I found it very similar to the ideal smooth and crispy Sam Adams seasonal beer, tried then went with a growler fill of the lager. Bitter forward rich and complex, cannot quite place the overall notes which is fine, there is plenty to slowly enjoy. Just like this place in the heart of american Midwest, polite staff, beautiful and large bar and main rooms, kid friendly spaces, and there's an outdoor patio as well. It all makes Moontown a place to return for nights and sunshine.

I just moved back to Indiana from Tennessee in December, and I recently landed in Whitestown. A colleague and I tried Moontown for the first time last Friday night after work. I was very much impressed in love that we have some place like this right here in our backyard. Johnny, the bartender, was phenomenal and very fun to hang out with. His customer service is excellent, and he's just a nice interesting guy, which you hope to find in any bartender. I'm most impressed with the repurposing of the building, and I love that the family did this. On top of that, the appetizers we tried were great and the beer was excellent. I've traveled overseas quite extensively, and I lived out of the country for 3 years. I fell in love with their hefeweizen but also enjoyed a few others. Tonight on the way home from work I decided I was craving some hefeweizen so I stopped in. I got to see Johnny, which was a pleasure, and I ordered a four pack of hefeweizen to go. They didn't have any cans available but I took home a 4-pack of la Luna which I also enjoyed. I had a fraternity brother that told me he wasn't as impressed with the place before I had tried it. It just goes to show everyone tastes are different. If you haven't tried this place, I would definitely get in there. And if you don't have kids, sit at the bar with Johnny. He's quite the cool cat and a great representative for the place. And as you can see from one of my pictures, the beer is best FurFriend approved. And btw... I love the price of their four packs! I had been stopping at Dave's on Whitestown parkway but now there's no reason to do so.

Stopped here to split a quick snack/lunch. We started with the Bavarian Pretzel w/queso….it was so big, filling and delicious that we ended up not needing anything else! It was amazing…you must try one if you eat here! My hubby had a Deadhead Redemption beer, and liked it really well. I tried the Melon Mint Spritz cocktail, and sadly, did not like it. I was expecting something light and refreshing with a wonderful watermelon flavor, but I think the mint was very overpowering. The atmosphere of the place was super cool, as was learning about the history of the building! Overall, I would come back here if we were in the area, especially to get another pretzel, and would also like to try a cheeseburger!

Came with our two kids early on a Wednesday and had great service and beer. I hadn’t been to Moontown for a few months and was a little disappointed at the reduced menu. The food selection used to be awesome. Nonetheless what we had was excellent.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. When we came early for dinner there were 4 other families with kids less than 2 years old.

Recently held a private party in the 1915 Room of Moontown Brewery, Whitestown, Indiana and can only say great things about the experience.

The food and beverages were delicious and my guests raved on and on about them. The catering manager, Kirby was very easy to work with, making my decisions a breeze. The pricing guide for menu choices, as well as set up options is well represented and pricing is clear.

The room is spacious, well lit, and temperature is well controlled. It is immaculate, flexible to arrange, with wonderful old school ambiance.

Parking in the lot is a little limited, but there is on street parking and additional parking on the restaurant side.

Wheelchair access is excellent. Level and clearly marked.

Call Moontown Brewery for your next event. You won't be disappointed.

The bartender Gen was an amazing server and really made my day . Rachel was also great and between the two of them they have earned lifelong customers with me and my friend . Thank you

Love Moontown, fantastic ppl and service, a bit overloaded with hazy/juicy's, but good quality broadly. Will say, the constant 70's AM radio music though.....utterly killing me. Won't stop me from coming back, of course.

We didn't get our order in before walking out.

No indoor seating was available, so we opted to sit outside (85°) for "immediate service" since we had two younger kids with us. We'd received no attention in 25min and had not even received water since being seated. I spoke to the receptionist who was "working on our order" even though we hadn't ordered. The last straw was waiting 5 more minutes (still no water) and a new group of patrons were seated with water - their dog even was served water. We walked out and were seated, order taken, and served in 30min at El Rodeo.

The two Dank A Rita’s from bartender extraordinaire Tyler were just what I needed tonight! And my side kick loved her Bloody Mary. Brooke was truly the Super Server and we had Amelia as the Hostess with the Most-ess. Food (burgers and appetizer chip & dip) was delish! Best French fries EVER!!! Thanks all for a much-needed, fun night out. You guys are THE BEST! See you again very soon!

Have loved this place for a long time! Have always had and still have great atmosphere, service and beer!! They used to have great food too but unfortunately have changed the menu to save $, so we now only come (not nearly as often) for the beer. Hoping they come back around on the food. The beer atmosphere and people are still great!
