Live music here is awesome. The beverage selection is extensive and the food menu is great. All in all it's a great place to hang out!

Generous portions and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere is excellent! The only issue we had was the lackluster service. We'll definitely go back and try again.

The atmosphere at this place is so pleasing. I don't know how else to describe how comfortable it felt while still being industrial. The service was amazing! Thank you, Brook, for checking on us so often and so genuinely! I couldn't choose my beers or entree fast enough- and then the pretzels we ordered as an app were out lickety split! HOT and SO GOOD. I had a flight- highly recommend the Cecilia. The hot Italian was so good my boyfriend said it was like dipping his meatballs in a warm marinera sauce and letting me lick it off (per my man) but the spicy kimchi chicken? FIRE. How can I recreate this at home? I would eat chicken EVERY NIGHT. And so would he. I love fries and these are crispy and spot on. LOVE the free moon pies. Wish I could have had many, many more beers. See you again, soon, Moontown Brewing! Stay Dank!

Great experience! Visited for our first time today. The beer was excellent, the atmosphere wonderful and Stevie at the bar could not have been more friendly and helpful. By far our favorite brewery in the Indy area. The space was very cool. The most unique space I’ve been to for a brewery. Do yourself a favor and visit this place!

I always enjoy the beer, atmosphere, and friendly service; however was really disappointed on most recent visit that there were no flatbreads, smoked meats or sausages. Just apps, sandwiches and a few salads. Not a fan of the new menu.

Y'all know no one likes the new menu, right? I'm a moontown regular. Great beer and place to see live music. Man, I hate leaving a bad review but the 2024 menu change is tragic. We have eaten at Moontown 3 times since the new 2024 menu, and it is a HUGE drop-off from where it used to be. Really don't understand why they dropped the best items and now ONLY offer 3 burgers, 6 sandwiches (not even a wrap option is odd) and 3 salads. Specials could be a way to fix it but they've been few and far between in 2024. I'll still go for the beer, music, trivia, etc, but won't eat there until the menu is addressed. Ian is a great chef, let him cook!

We've come regularly since opening weekend, and service has been good, food too. When we pulled in this evening, there were very few cars, menu slashed, and wings just ok - too sweet. What happened to "smoked meat"? No brisket now

**Do not go here if you have any food allergies or like to customize your order. They think this is a Michelin restaurant and will deny your simple requests with a pretentious attitude.**Went here a few days ago and someone in my party asked about gluten free options due to having celiac disease. They told us that they had gluten free buns but when the member with celiac ordered the portobello French dip they said they couldn’t make it on a gluten free bun because of “portion size”. Really??Then I ordered the Double Baco Chee cheeseburger and asked to trade out the American for cheddar cheese, seeing another burger on the menu had cheddar. The waitress said they couldn’t make the change saying “the chef doesn’t allow a substitution of cheese”.I asked for the chef but the assistant manager came over and we were told that they couldn’t accommodate our requests because of the “chef experience”. This meant that the chef’s preference comes before the customers. We’re not talking about an extravagant request, we’re talking about the type of cheese. Ridiculous. After some questioning the assistant manager finally agreed to make the French dip on the gluten free bun but I was denied the cheese swap. This place is a brewery brewpub, not a high end Michelin restaurant. If a customer wants a different cheese or has a dietary restriction, there should be every effort to accommodate when possible, not refusal because the chef doesn’t want to do it because of his preference.Horst Schulze, the legendary cofounder of Ritz Carlton Hotel Group, says that customers want 3 things: 1. Defect free product. 2. Timely delivery. 3. For you to be nice to them. When a company nails 1 and 2 but fails at the 3rd, customers not only will not return but they will become terrorists to your brand. Inversely, if there’s a failure in 1 or 2, but a company is nice to you, customers are quick to show grace and overlook the mistake. We received defect free products, even though it wasn’t what I wanted. The delivery was acceptable. But the 3rd one was terrible. The whole experience was full of smugness, what the chef wants matters more than what the customer wants, and an attitude that we should be lucky to be allowed to eat there. I don’t know who the chef thinks he is, but he needs a crash course in keeping customers happy. The owner should never tolerate this smugness. As a result of how we were treated, we will never go back. I hope either: 1. They change their tune, accommodate simple customer requests, and drop the smug pretension. or 2. Customers will choose to go where all 3 customer expectations are met, and this place closes so a real restaurant will take over the location.Beware if you go here. Not only will you pay a lot for average food/beer, you will be denied any request and be made to feel like an idiot for even asking. I advise you to go elsewhere.Dietary restrictions: The “chef experience” matters more than dietary restrictions. I advise you go elsewhere.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. Lately, they changed the menu and removed all the flat breads. They only give cold chicken on the salads. They say they can't heat up the chicken. The last time we went we saw they are now adding a 3% fee for using debit or credit cards. I was a bit disappointed in all these changes and for sure on the 3% service charge. It seems the customer service side of this restaurant isn't really there anymore. We won't be back until that 3% fee goes away.

This repurposed schoolhouse is a great place to stop and grab a pint on a sunny afternoon. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar. Our beer tender was polite and personable and made some good suggestions. We ordered a couple of beers and pretzels with beer cheese and hot mustard. We enjoyed our beer and our pretzels. The environment, being in an old schoolhouse, adds a lot because you are drinking good beer in a fin atmosphere. We will definitely make the drive to Whitestown again!

Better off at the Casey's or near by truck stop if you want frozen gas station style wings. Staff was rude, 1st (and last) time in and went to bar, was excused of being with a loud group and was no longer given good or any service.
