We had the most wonderful authentic meal here! It was better than any Chicago place we have tried. The service was attentive and the vibe was relaxed and friendly! Highly recommend! The shredded beef taco cannot be beat, and everything we ordered was great!

Food is good but smelled bad by the restrooms having just opened you would think it would smell better. I had to move to the other side .....big turn-off

Cute place very clean and the food was good. We dined in. No fountain soda so had to get a can. Besides that, I would go often if it were not that far. Love it!

My children and I enjoyed our experience here. The hostess and waitress were ecstatic that I speak Spanish. The food was hot and flavorful. I tipped well for our customer service!!

I'm in another city for work..but my girl is moaning, groaning and salivating on the phone while eating the chicken & steak quesodilla, rice and beans and birria taco...she say Chela can have all her money! So I guess it's really good🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

This place is best for a grab and go. The food is descent and prices are fair and good value for what you get. Chela's is not going to knock your socks off, and the food is definitely good, but their unique spin on the food can be an acquired taste to traditional Mexican food lovers. Its not tex-mex, but they definitely have a spicy unique approach. If you DONT like spicy I suggest you tell that up front

I went here a couple days ago and the dry first time I tried them a few months ago it was off a YouTubers recommendation by the name of NonStop G and the food was good that day but I went back and had birria tacos and the quality of meat this time was horrible it was kinda tough and stringy like which was big disappointment and I went early when they first opened up 😔👎🏽
