We had the most wonderful authentic meal here! It was better than any Chicago place we have tried. The service was attentive and the vibe was relaxed and friendly! Highly recommend! The shredded beef taco cannot be beat, and everything we ordered was great!
I'm in another city for work..but my girl is moaning, groaning and salivating on the phone while eating the chicken & steak quesodilla, rice and beans and birria taco...she say Chela can have all her money! So I guess it's really good🤦🏿♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
This place is best for a grab and go. The food is descent and prices are fair and good value for what you get. Chela's is not going to knock your socks off, and the food is definitely good, but their unique spin on the food can be an acquired taste to traditional Mexican food lovers. Its not tex-mex, but they definitely have a spicy unique approach. If you DONT like spicy I suggest you tell that up front
