I loved this place since my teens. Fresh fast traditional best Chinese food. And also dine in friendly... cause you know the rest don't do that now for some reason.
I was glad returning as an adult with my family and them having the same quality and quantity. The only negative is they don't accept card so bring cash with you.

I drive to Whiting Indiana from Crown Point because there is no other place that has such great Chinese food.

I got the pepper steak with tomato lunch special which included a fried rice and an egg roll my man got the beef and chicken fried rice. Service was great other than they did not ask what type of fried rice I'd like with my lunch special which included the options of shrimp chicken or pork I got chicken or pork not sure but would have preferred the shrimp. Although my meal was pleasant. Neither fried rice had much flavor we had to overcompensate with soy sauce. It was good but definitely needs more flavor more onions and other ingredients were missing from the typical fried rice we order elsewhere. It has potential.

The food is okay and the smoothies are amazing but it’s become way too expensive now, they only accept cash, and I can’t even add up how I’m paying so much because the prices online do not match what I’ve been charged. 2 large orange chicken and 2 smoothies came out to about $40 and online, the orange chicken is $6-7 and the price of the smoothies is nowhere to be found so I just don’t know. I didn’t even get a receipt.
The food was delicious and fresh! The staff is very friendly, and decor is nice. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I ordered a pepper steak without the peppers and onions. it was great. The meat was very tender and my son ordered a beef fried rice with shrimps in it and the chicken wings and he loved it as well. It was great. I give them a 10.

Great food, but I was not surprised because I saw how busy the restaurant was. Furthermore, the restaurant has a dining area and a parking lot. I will return even though I live in Chicago, but only a 20 minutes drive distance.

Food is delicious just a little bit too much oil
Ordered a variety of dishes and overall it was okay especially for the price.
I will order again but no experiments.
Stick to the dishes you are familiar with. Standard Chinese dishes, egg foo young, fried rice etc.
The chicken wings are good also.

Food aside, I am so greatful for the massive lesson in culture I got from King Chop Suey. First off, the place had authentic silverware that said it was made in China, but the chef worker distinguished things Made in China from what 'China' is (which is nice Chinese kitchenware) which is the same word as the actual country oddly enough (kinda confusing). Secondly, I was wondering if part of becoming a sumo wrestler was eating a lot of Chinese food, and he said that though it is possible, they are Japanese, and let me know that China and Japan are actually different countries (but pointed out a lot of similarities between the two since the Japanese stole the original Chinese culture) I feel a little bit less ignorant now. The world is a big place and there's so much to learn. Even the same word can have many different meanings, like China.

These pot stickers will be stuck to my mind for awhile! Huge, bursting with flavor! The Thick, chewey dough was warm and filling, The Pork inside was seasoned well, and the sweet and salty sauce complemented the pork perfectly 👌
BEST CHINESE FOOD AROUND, HANDS DOWN.

I'm bothered at the fact that this place only takes cash there's no where to sit if you're not eating in the service is not friendly at all but I will say the food is good
