I had broasted chicken which was delicious. Side of chili was also terrific. My wife had a tenderloin. It was good but I think a little too big and it was cooked a little long. This is my second time and I'll definitely come back. I really want to try the broasted pork chop after how good the chicken was.

I was traveling through Winamac and I found this "looks like a dive, but actually a really nice diner inside." The state delicacy of Indiana is the pork tenderloin sandwich and supposedly a key part is to make the tenderloin at least twice the size of the bun. One-Eyed Jack's excelled at this part. This sandwich was mammoth! Another key part is the tenderloin being battered in-house ... in more ways than one. The batter on the tenderloin was crisp but not too greasy. It reminded me of a terrific batter you would find at fairs. And the other way I mean battered is that this tenderloin was tenderized so well...I almost thought I was eating chicken instead of basically a pork chop. The mayo, red onion, tomato, and pickle ...and a little bit of ketchup I added made this a legendary sandwich! I am from Alabama and a difficulty I have had living in Indiana is finding sweet tea. Surprisingly, One-Eyed Jack's brews their tea in-house which is more important than the amount of sugar. The sweet tea had enough sweetness to it to make it delicious though it would probably be considered half and half in my native Alabama. Roll Tide! But I was satisfied with their sweet tea and would order it again. There are weekly specials like I could have had wings if I had arrived an hour later. They also do BBQ on the weekends. I will be making more visits to One-Eyed Jack's in the future.

Great atmosphere with friendly service. The food is amazing with lots of extras to take home. What a choice in drinks and the craft beer list is a long one. Something for everyone in the family.

Well known for their tenderloins. I saw quite a few go out and they looked like they lived up to the Hoosier Hype! I got the smelts and they were everything i hoped they would be, crispy, crunchy, not overly fishy and enough for 3 people. My friend had the whitefish and enjoyed it. It was a Friday evening and by the time we left. The line was outside and around the corner. Next time I'm going with their famous tenderloin. It's uniquely decorated in an old west, kinda parlor style. Well go back!

My husband and I are moving to Winamac. We bought a house here to retire. We have been here many times before and it's always a hit or miss. One time we ordered food for pick up and when I got there, they had a computer problem. I asked a perfectly acceptable question about our order and the person at the register shoved the receipt in my face and yelled SEE ITS ON THERE! So we go last night and order the black and blue ribeye, no blue cheese. We were sharing our entrees and my husband doesn't like blue cheese. The waitress acted like I asked her to cut my meat and feed me. My husband ordered the bluegill dinner. The bartender brought us our food without an extra steak knife despite us stating we were sharing. Then came time to cut the steak. First I asked for medium and got rare. Second 3/4 of the steak was fat and gristle. I talked to a waitress ( not ours since she disappeared) and she said oh I'm sorry it's probably just the meat we ordered. Went to pay and the manager asked how everything was and I told him worst steak of my life. No offer to cut the bill, nothing but I'm sorry. Come here, eat the good food, but don't ever order the ribeye. Oh and the waitress said ribeyes have more fat. I told her I know this as it is my steak of choice but not like this as she is looking at about 12 ounces of fat and gristle on my plate

Food was good and service was good too. This was our first time here and we traveled about 45 minutes to give it a try. We would make the drive back to try something else. The tenderloins are huge and flavorful!

We had a short wait for a table but it was definitely worth the wait. It's a comfortable restaurant with a family dining area and a bar area. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. There were plenty of options on the menu to choose from. Everything from wings to fish, rib eye and even a king crab leg dinner! But the star of the show is the hand breaded tenderloin. These things are an Indiana legend! They will put whatever toppings on it that you want but to stay true to the Indiana tradition, you will only top it with pickles and yellow mustard. The breading was delicious. Very crispy and not too greasy. Our waitress recommended trimming around the bun and taking those pieces home. We took her advice and we are looking forward to leftovers tomorrow! They have an extensive beer list and if you're lucky, they'll still have some fresh pie for dessert! We took it to go by the way. No way we were walking away from pie but also no way we were eating it after that tenderloin! Pro Tip: Order the Double Deuce which comes with two buns. It's a smaller portion when shared so less leftovers or food waste. Overall this is a tremendous value, a great neighborhood bar and food good enough to come back for!

Holy cow! I'd been here before but never tried the pork tenderloin sandwich. So I had the jumbo jack sandwich. It's literally the best sandwich I've ever had. It's a bar. So the ambiance was...a bar. But man the food was spectacular. Beer was cold. Whiskey strong. What more could you want?

Been wanting to try this restaurant for a few years now but was never in the area the right time except for tonight. It was well worth the wait and did not disappoint. I have their famous tenderloin and was barely able to eat about 1/4 of it! The onion rings were also fabulous! I hope I don't have to wait so long to return!

Came for the tenderloin, the service was sketchy. The food took forever bc they had "kitchen printer issues." Good Bloody Mary. And the food was hot and tasty-when it finally showed up. I'll give them another shot, if I'm in the area again.

If you haven't tried their wraps, you're missing out! My favorite is chicken bacon Ranch.

Where can you get great food and even better service? One Eyed Jack's in Winamac, IN.

Very tasty breaded white fish. The serving was 4 big pieces. Had breaded shrimp the next time we went. It was also good. We will return.

This is my favorite place for a burger, but I also love trying the weekend specials. One day, I wanted try something different, and a staff member recommended the Cheeseburger Salad. It has quickly become a new favorite for me. The staff is always super friendly too.
