Poblanos Mexican Grill - Winamac, IN

When I think Mexican I think flavor. Ordered taco salad and it was more like chopped ground beef with tomato lettuce shredded cheese and sour cream in a flour tortilla bowl. Was not impressed at all. Service was great though. Strawberry margarita was amazing!

WOW !! I attended a paintball tournament at the Fort Knox Paintball Field.... being from Chicago I am spoiled by the huge variety of great food, with great Mexican food being one of them. I had low expectations of finding great food in this area (sorry Chi-Town has the best food in the country)
BUT .... man the food was absolutely fantastic !!! I got the carne asada tacos (Mexican style, cilantro and onions) if the steak is not great you'll know ...these were great !!!! I highly recommend thus spot if your in the area.. I will absolutely eat here again when I'm in the area !!

my husband and I went for dinner and we ordered the steak burrito especial has always been our favorite there. we also ordered bean dip to go with our chips and salsa. today I was very disappointed. the steak is usually very tender and full of flavor. today it was tuff and very hard to eat and was very bland. the burrito had no flavor at all you almost needed salt to give it flavor. and to top it off I went to dip a small piece of my burrito in the bean dip and there was a bug in it. I don't know what happened but I won't be eating there for a long time.

Tried the AYCE Whitefish and it was great!

I can't rate the food because a server never came to take our order. We sat there for 20 minutes and they never even came to take our drink order.

Poblano's welcomed a large part of 40 kayakers. They were prompt and courteous. The restaurant was clean and staff even plays large trash cans in our eating area so that we could dispose of items during our time enjoying the buffet.

I got the Ribeye. It looked baked. Sooo much fat on it. Originally looked huge but top half was global of fat. Not sure why you would even serve it like that. Yuck.

I highly recommend this place to anyone, it is as good as any Mexican Restaurant I have ever eaten, but definitely by far cheaper than any Mexican Restaurant that I have ever eaten at!

Food was very good our waiter was very attentive and returned often. Portions were large and tasteful. I would I would recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner. Food was served hot and very timely.
