You haven’t lived until you have enjoyed a pie from Mrs Wicks. Famous all over Indiana and beyond. The sugar cream pie is the standard as well as the fruit and marange pies. Winchesters signature restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Great portions and price. The vegetable soup is really good. Enjoy the pie. Worth the drive.

Mrs Wick's has THE BEST sugar cream pie! I've never tasted another that could measure up! When I'd go back to Winchester to visit my grandparents, we'd often go to Wick's for lunch. My fav meal is that half a chicken fajita pita. It's a small chicken fajita salad with half a pita pocket. I don't know what they do, but the chicken is seasoned perfectly! It comes with salsa and sour cream. The hubby would mix things up and get a Manhattan if it was on special or the Tenderloin, which was his fav. From time to time, I'd get a pie other than sugar cream. Any pie from there is delicious. The peanut butter is to die for!

5/5 recommendation for me and my family. We went for breakfast and to pick up some pies on a Saturday morning and it was just the best time. Small home town feel with great waitresses and great food. I had a ham and cheese omelette and hash browns and was full for the rest of the day. The pies are also amazing. We got several to take home. The sugar cream pie is of course a timeless Indiana classic and also got a chocolate cream that was superb and a few fruit pies.

Loved the sugar cream pie! Small town diner appeal with pie (yum!). Went here to participate in the Indiana Culinary Trails Passport Pie Day-to-Pi Day event happening now. Glad we tried it. It was our first time having a Wick's pie (well, three of them).

When in the area for work I knew a quick pit stop was in order. Mrs.Wicks is known for making Indianas State pie, sugar cream. This restaurant is next to their factory which you can tour. I had already had lunch so was coming in with colleagues after a meeting for coffee and pie. Which is probably good, with COVID their menu is only served between certain hours and has restrictions. Be sure to check the time before you head in expecting lunch/dinner. We got there in late afternoon (445?) And had limited pie options, "one of these, 2-slices of this, we are out of xyz". My suggestion go early if you want variety. All in all it was good. The dining room was good size. It felt pretty clean. Definitely make a stop to the cases for their "imperfect frozen pies"($2/pie), frozen noodles, naked pie crust, and rolls/breads. As a warning there is no allergy friendly options here either. As someone who avoids gluten [im sensitive, not allergic], don't expect anything GF, nut free, soy free, sugar free [they do have a reduced sugar pie], fat free etc..... its a pie place!

First time customer. Great food and service. They say when you go to a small town look for the busiest restaurant, that fits here. Place was packed but got in and out quickly. Has the small town diner vibe.

Not sure what happened but my over easy eggs are cooked to almost well done and my sausage was deep fried. They forgot my wife’s sausage and deep fried it as well. My wife ordered white toast and they brought wheat. By the time they replaced the toast her eggs were completely cold. Nothing on our plate even looked appetizing. We called our server over and asked her if anything looked appetizing and she agreed that our food did not look good. Regrettably we got up and left without eating. I’m certain this is not the norm but just not sure why it happened to us but we won’t be back.

We love Mrs. Wicks. My daughter asked to go there today, and had a grilled cheese . I had a loaded up breaded tenderloin. We both had fries and Cole slaw. We both had apple pie for dessert.. Just delicious. The service is good, and the price is right.

Used to stop in here when I traveled for work. Now that I am retired I am planning a day trip for lunch with friends next week. Looking forward to the Baker's Stew and who knows what kind of pie. Always a treasured stop

As much as I wanted to enjoy my time here, I didn't. The service left much to be desired, as did the pies available. I was really hoping to have a nice time here with my younger cousin for his birthday, since I had heard good things about this location, but was overall disappointed by the cold servings I had received, along with exaggerated wait times. Will absolutely not be coming here again, and would recommend other people to avoid this in lieu of better options available nearby. Thanks.

Quick service by a friendly server! Delicious bbq pork sandwich and crispy, large onion rings! Creamy slaw! Tasty Sweet Tea! Not a lot of noise. And the pecan and Sugar Cream pies are Heaven on a plate!
