I only stopped here for a slice of pie, so that's what this review is based on. Making my way through Indiana, I made it a point to try several different (all well loved) sugar cream pies, and I can honestly say that all 4 were big-time winners in my book. Old school dinner vibe, food is plentiful,tasty, and hot. The coffee is good and endless bottom. BUT you go there for the pie. Made there, many varieties and always a treat. Nothing fancy here, but for good pie and eats, 10 out of 10
We are from out of town and like trying new restaurants. Mrs Wicks had great reviews so we tried it. We ordered the skillet and the food came out quick. We were slightly thrown back that it was in a bowl and not a skillet, anyhow we were hungry and dug in. Honestly it was kind of flavorless and relatively small portions.
