The classic small town diner, fantastic value, large menu, accomodating staff and homespun atmosphere, a bit awkward with stars for immobile customers, and hope they get outdoor seating options next summer! I got myself the full on Wednesday meatloaf platter special. Always a good feast and need to try more of the menu, great options for sides and desserts too, I'm a fan!
Orange juice was terrible! Could not drink it. Ordered a deluxe omelet with Swiss cheese instead of American. . Got American. Ordered rye toast , got wheat.
OMG! You get your dessert FIRST and it's friggin delish! If you happen to be this way stop and and ya won't be disappointed. Simple, uncomplicated comfort food straight from your mommas kitchen. YES!

Lovely little Cafe! Driving north right to chicago and not out of the way really. Waitress was nice. Food yummy and affordable. I have my dog and pre-ordered since I can't leave him for too long in the car(he'll just bark the whole time lol) and it was ready by the time I got there! (Less than 15 minutes order to eta) quick bite for dine in or in my case a car meal then back on the road!

Great food and service. A lot of local folks eat here so it can get busy and a little loud at times
I met my mom here for lunch because Wolcott is the closest place to the midpoint between where we each live. So I only have 1 thing to base my experience on. I was really disappointed in the eggs. They were very rubbery and didn't taste right. I can only guess that they use liquid egg mixture or something like that. Everyone here was really nice though.
It was a small place and everyone was extremely friendly. My husband said his burger was great and his onion rings were delicious. My French fries were undercooked.

This is a must stop if you are in the area. Visited this family-friendly establishment while on a business trip. Enjoyed an amazing breakfast, chili omelet, and toast. The service was great!
