After being in contact with the owners. I’m updating this review with more detail on why I’m leaving a one star.

After witnessing an altercation amongst the owners family friends bullying a peer with disabilities. We were saddened by what we saw and decided to inform the owners via Facebook Messenger. They replied promptly that they would look more into the situation. A few days go by and I had a moment to write my previous review.

Later that night (after my review was posted) they messaged me back on Facebook. Stating “it is clearly a he said she said story.” Once they read my vague review they replied back with …”you are not a good person at all and apparently have a lot of time to really dwell on things that do not really concern you.”

They are right the situation did not concern me but I will stand up for someone that might not be able to stand up for themselves. Being defensive and attacking me as a person for having to much time on my hands to write a review. Although if I wrote a positive uplifting review my time would have been thanked.

All in all - I leave with this. I am glad there is an ice cream place in Yorktown that has made it successfully through two seasons. The ice cream isn’t bad. It’s your money do what you want with it. Lastly remember being nice is free.

We went there on Mother's Day and ordered a drink only. it took 30 min. Apparently, there was only one person working. I did message them to let them know how long it took to get a simple drink. I was not mean or nasty but asked why in the world they would open with 1 worker on a holiday. Over a week later, I received a nasty, petty response blaming me and other customers for overwhelming the worker. A simple sign stating that they were understaffed and that there would be a wait would have done wonders. There were multiple littles waiting for their treats and some of them (and the parents) were not taking it so well. If you don't have enough staff, call someone in or don't open.

My husband and I ended up here on a random Sunday evening. We were NOT disappointed! My husband got 2 scoops of the lemon cheesecake ice cream in a waffle cone. He LOVED it! I got 2 scoops of moose tracks with hot fudge, crushed m&m's as well as whipped cream. It was DELICIOUS!! We can't wait to come back!

Gave us expired soda. Then they put it back in their refrigerator with rest other expired sodas. Watch out for expired soda etc. oh and one that is already opened after drank it. Not going back. Ice cream probably expired too.

Great atmosphere with interesting ice cream flavors, and the server offered me a variety of samples. The outside seating area next to the creek is surprisingly picturesque and really inviting.

Kid-friendliness: Samples are great way to make sure you buy something that will satisfy a picky kid.

I honestly wanted to love this place. The icecream was delicious. However when my family and I walked in no one greeted us and had black faces. Reading the reviews it seems like service is good so I’m not sure what the issue was that day.

We found this darling ice cream shop when purchasing our Goldendoodle puppy! So cute , amazing service and easy to sit outside too!
