Aspasia Bakery is one of those places you find yourself returning to again and again—for the food, the people, and the atmosphere.

Their Greek salad is my favorite lunch pick—fresh, flavorful, and always consistent. I also love their macaroons (truly the best I’ve found locally), and their custom cakes are stunning—both in design and taste. Whether it’s a birthday or a special event, they nail it every time.

Their coffee and espresso options are top notch—with great attention to quality. You can taste the difference. It’s the kind of spot where every detail is cared for, and it shows.

The space itself is incredibly inviting—cozy and warm indoors, with comfortable seating that feels more like a gathering place than a typical café. Outdoors, they’ve thoughtfully added heaters and charming touches that make it enjoyable to sit outside even in cooler weather.

And the people? Truly wonderful. Carrie and the team are welcoming, attentive, and passionate about what they do. It makes every visit feel personal and worth it.

They also have a beautiful private upstairs space, perfect for showers, luncheons, meetings, or small gatherings. It’s intimate, stylish, and well-run—a great option if you’re looking for somewhere special to host a group.

Aspasia is more than a bakery or coffee shop—it’s a neighborhood favorite and a reflection of how thoughtful food, service, and community can come together.

Lovely baked goods. And definitely appreciate that the kitchen is gluten-free. The portion size of the soup could be a little bit bigger. But everything is delicious. I wish they were open on Sundays.

Have gone here twice when visiting family in the area. In addition to gluten free baked goods, most of the items are also dairy free and some items are vegan. Everything I have tried is great. The staff are also wonderful. Has comfortable indoor seating, a covered outdoor seating area, and a drive through.

Love this spot. Decorated with calming neutrals, and not set up as a second office but as instead a place to meet a friend or two or to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. Ample space upstairs suited for small groups. My iced espresso was perfect.

I ordered a Greek salad and a cookie. A full salad and cookie was $14. The salad size was laughable. It was about the size of a side salad you can get from Kroger. And the cucumber they used was the waxy kind that usually has the skin removed, but it wasn't. I couldn't eat the cucumber portion. The other parts were fine, but not enough to satisfy. $10 when 2/3 of the salad costs under $1 is not okay.
And then, the cookie was undercooked. Like, when I grabbed it, it was so soft it was falling apart. I thought it was a soft cookie, but that is not the case. No chewiness to it either. And way too strongly cinnamon.
All in all, it's a pretty place and that is what you are paying for. If I hadn't eaten a portion of the salad before I tasted the cucumber or cookie, I probably would have marched back and returned it. They are charging too much for simple food that could be better. Maybe the coffee is why people come back, but I will not be returning.

This coffee spot is not in an area I visit often, so when I saw it, I had to stop and I’m glad I did. It’s a beautiful spot with ample seating. The drinks are quite good. I will go back if I’m ever in the area again

Aspasia is great spot for finding gluten free baked goods. They offer a variety of cookies, scones and brownie options to choose from. I tried their salted caramel brownie. It was chewy for my taste but I didn’t disappoint with its flavour. It was mildly sweet just like how I like my desserts☺️. I look forward to try their coffee and bento cakes. They also have a great outdoor patio facing the main road which would make a perfect evening outing in summers.☀️
