Auberge is definitely improvoving from our last experience a year ago. We had a smoked salmon appetizer along with deviled eggs, which were B plus. The star of the evening were the scallops - 3 large plump scallops perfectly cooked, some of the best I've ever had. The veal was excellent as well. My only pause was the frisee and pear lettuce salad which was just ok. We sat at a lovely outdoor table and had excellent service from our server. Our sparkling rose and Pinot Grigio...
My Mom and I came to Auberge on a Wednesday for brunch. This was our first time here. It was such a beautiful day, so we sat outside. It seemed like there was only one server at that time. It wasn't too crowded, so he was doing a great job of taking care of the handful of tables. We both ordered a mimosa. I got raspberry and she got orange. They were both delicious. My Mom ordered the Croque Monsieur | Madame (#) Gruyère, layered jambon de Paris, mornay sauce, sourdough....
My husband ordered from the regular menu. He enjoyed his scallops and said he would order again. I ordered from the Devour menu which was smaller entree portion, included soup or salad which I ordered the French onion based on a recommendation. I wasn't a huge fan of that. Lacked something. The Devour menu also included a dessert. I ordered crème brûlée. The custard was delicious. My short rib entree tasted fine but nothing I would say I must get that again. One issue...
