The prices are pretty ridiculous, and I frankly didn't understand a lot of the menu. We got a plate of oddly salted bread before dinner, and the bread was toasted on a barbecue grill. That made the bread taste like smoke —a flavor that unfortunately stuck with us for a long time, even after eating other food. It was pretty unpleasant. I would avoid it. We were surprised to see that a 5% tip was already added to our bill before we were expected to leave more of a tip. The entrees were extremely overpriced. I had a plate of rabbit tortellini that was OK, but it was paired with some oddly flavored chopped veggies. It was not a very filling meal. My dining companions had salads, and I didn't taste them, but they looked odd. They reported that the salads were good, but not fabulous, and needed more balance of flavors. Our overall opinion was that it was fun and interesting to try the place once, but we don't plan to be back. We've been sampling lots of restaurants in the Zionville area, and this one does not make the top five choices.

You MUST come here!!! Locally owned by mom and son, authentic Italian food in a nice ambience smaller more intimate and personal kind of place. Mom will greet and seat you, she is the sweetest, the servers are delightful and super helpful, and the chef himself (son) will come out to chat with u about recommendations. And then there's the FOOD!!!! It is amazing. Get the fried olives with sausage app, then the baby kale salad is the best I've ever eaten...even my husband agrees. Brown butter dressing is hard to pass up!! Then the entrees are all stellar. I recently went to have the branzino and it did not disappoint. It is proper to serve that as a whole fish, so if that weirds you out just as them to remove the head before bringing to you. The fish is so delicious and perfectly prepared. Happy to keep supporting g this family owned place——those are the BEST!! Come on out it u haven't tried it yet.

This place is a hidden gem with a spectacular chef and creative menu. It's small and intimate, quiet, and features a selection of small plates and entrees that you won't get anywhere else. The staff are attentive and well-versed in the ingredients and tastes of every menu item. They have great gluten-free options and adaptations. We had three different entrees among the four of us and everyone wanted a bite of the others after hearing how good they were!

Food was decent, execution was terrible. Menu is limited, which is totally fine, but with a 6:30pm reservation, they had already sold out of 2 of the 3 salads. So we ordered an app to share, halfway through that, our main course arrived, big pet peeve of mine and I am sure of many, this isn't McDonald's, we aren't trying to get out of there in 45 minutes. The main courses arrived several minutes apart and neither were delivered by our server. Again, timing is off in the kitchen. I ordered the duck bolognese, their "signature" dish I came to find out. It is not a bolognese, it was spicy tomato cream sauce that completely overpowered any duck that was in it. I actually asked if they gave me the correct dish, they confirmed they did. A bolognese isn't open to interpretation by teh chef, particularly if you aren't going to provide a description on the menu stating that. Then the bill added a 5% kitchen surcharge/tip, never seen that before. Never saw the server again until the check came, they didn't refill our wine glasses, check in on the meal, nothing. Service and timing of everything very poor. When you are spending $150 on a meal, many want to sit for 1.5-2 hrs and enjoy it, have a conversation, have fun being out, not be rushed through in 45 mins so you can turn the table again. It's borderline offensive.

What a delicious meal with great service. We enjoyed finishing our wine in the lounge loft, too.

Good Omen is a wonderful hidden gem! Independent, chef owned, and a well crafted menu make Good Omen a fantastic experience. The Duck Bolognese is not to be missed! Thank you, Deja, for the wonderful evening. My wife and I will be back!

This is one of the best restaurants on the north side. The food is so good. Small, cozy establishment where everyone makes you feel at home. Ava, our server, was wonderful. Everything on the menu we tried was the best I had. Everyone should give Good Omen a try, you'll be so happy you did.

One of my favorite hidden gems. Elegant, and different food, delicious and high-end. Great service as always!

I hate to leave a negative review, but - we found every item bland or lacking in flavor except the steak tartar. Salads were both different and both lacking in flavor, appetizers were bland (exception being tartar), one pasta completely lacking in flavor and the other was lacking in flavor and was WAY over salted to the point I actually chocked on the first bight. The air smelled like fuel oil, maybe it was something to do with AC. Service was great and the super tuscan was very nice. Food was also priced too high, and I expect high prices, but this was like 30% high. Bottom line is we will not be back because of the food :(

We attended another wine tasting dinner at Good Omen. The food was perfectly paired with wine selections and representatives from Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard were especially knowledgeable and a pleasure to have conservation with. Chef Nick from Good Omen was also available to answer questions regarding the menu . As always service is 5 star, a Zionsville gem.

Excellent food. Started with the Artichokes. Very unique and delightful. My wife had the Pasta special and I had the Mussels. Both were excellent. Did not care for the Focaccia bread as it had been grilled and the charred taste was not pleasant. Overall, quite good, we will be back for sure.

Once again a wonderful meal at Good Omen. Restaurant was completely full , so there was some pressure on service. The big issue for us was that it was a very hot evening and the restaurants air conditioning just was not working to the point of it being unpleasant . Spoke to them about it and they agreed that it was not good , lots of people , high ceilings etc but to be honest this really needs to be be fixed . The chocolate shop next door has a sign in the window saying they were closed until further notice until the strip malls air conditioning system is fixed so it's obviously a bigger problem . Hopefully the restaurant can resolve this issue with the strip mall's management .

Wasn’t bad, but I’ve had much better Italian food. Definitely overpriced for what you get. $30 for 6 raviolis? $50 for 3 small bites of pork tenderloin? $72 for Angus strip that was extremely rare. My son ordered it medium well, although they tried to convince him to order it medium rare. You pay for each refill on soft drinks. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was good. Only 3 tables of customers on a Saturday evening for a reason. The other place on main st in Zionsville is much better for less money too.
