Seems nice enough inside. Food was ready at the time quoted. However, the pork egg roll was overdone and the chicken lo mein was bland and the chicken was kind of chewy. I’ve never been anywhere that made bad chicken lo mein until now.

The rice is better than most but needs salt to enhance it but not from MSG. Egg rolls were also very good . In all, it's good but could be better if the rice as in the name ,had more flavor . To the owner....I reviewed another place that has the word (rice) in the name and they have the best rice.. 1 additional thing is you're a bit pricy for me to drive 20 minutes but still good either way. Thanks

I hadn't been to Rice Cooker in many, many years and was visiting town during the recent winter storm, and picked up takeout from here. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this Zionsville staple was still delivering good quality service and food. We had lovely service by the hostess who was working during the snow storm, and the food was well priced and delicious. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

I frequent this small, but cozy, establishment about twice a week, and every time I go in I’m greeted by a lovely host who is quick to take my order (she knows it by heart) and engage in pleasant conversation while I wait for my food.
The food itself is well portioned and very filling. For me, the broccoli/chicken with a side of white rice and an order of steamed dumplings hits the spot every time!
