I really do not enjoy leaving bad reviews, but the food here was awful today. The conch that they serve here is rubbery and almost too hard to chew. The chowder was hardly edible. It tastes like alphabet rubber tree soup. The conch/shrimp fritters were 90% batter. The habanero marmalade was pure sugar. Absolutely deplorable. The home fries were dropped into a fryer instead of cooked on a flat, so they were brown, old, and disgusting. Seemed lazy to me all around. You cook potatoes on a flat if they aren't french fries. Then, those were topped with pesto and sent out with a side of ketchup? Who does that? If they have an executive chef here I don't know what he is doing. I was a line cook for years in college and can do better than that. The food looks amazing, but it is a try hard to die hard situation.

Great menu. A little loud. Everyone's food was great and service was swift. Lettuce wraps and sliders delicious. Lobster roll did not disappoint.

Manager should be fired for getting bossy and inciting problems with people on the PUBLIC sidewalk. Mind your business and if you can't BE NICE!! You're running a business!!! Enjoy your ratings going to trash because your attitude deserves it and your future patrons deserve to know how you act on camera. Imagine how she acts when she thinks no one is watching!

Food is awful for the price

First time visiting, it did not disappoint. It was a little difficult to find but we did. The inside is decorated very pretty. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly. I had two drinks both were awesome. The first was the Hot Tin Tini the second a pineapple mojito. I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi. It was fantastic. Highly recommend and we will be back!

I love the Tipsy Mermaid! The staff is warm and welcoming and the food is creative, fresh and delicious. My favorite item is the Bikini Wrap Tacos. Last night we tried something new - Deconstructed Tacos - I had all the fixin’s and lettuce and made my own tacos. Delicious!!! If these tacos have been a challenge to eat - try them deconstructed!
