Bar & Grill in Abilene

“I was in town for the night. I asked around a bit and heard M & R was the best in town!

I sat at the bar and ended up chatting with fellow patrons. I appreciated their Lent menu big time! I had the hot honey shrimp. It was great, as was their fries and steamed broccoli. I know it sounds ridiculous, but most places oversteam broccoli. M & R nailed it!

“What a gem. I didn't know it was there. Hotel clerk raved and they did not disappoint. I had the best mushroom and Swiss burger ever. It was bourbon infused somehow. Also partner had bourbon bacon cheeseburger. Both fantastic. They had full dinner options too. Bellied up to the bar for a beverage while I waited. Will be a place I revisit next trip.“
