Everything was great. The food was really delicious. A little on the high side but it was at least good. Lol I ordered the chicken fried chicken and I think it was around 15 with two sides. I had fries and fruit. We went on Sunday which is a day they serve free dessert! We each had a brownie and it was delicious! The staff was so friendly and welcoming! The restaurant is nice and open with lots of space. The tables are just like you'd find in your mamas kitchen, not industrial tables.

We sat down and ordered and still after 30 plus minutes of waiting still no food. Others that arrived after us was being served before us. I guess if you are local you get better service.

This was so much fun! Delicious home cooking! Huge facility. Sits right beside Old Town Abilene, and has atmosphere that suits. They had a marvelous server named Elias who was charming and very professional. In fact, all of the servers were terrific. Can't wait to go back!

Very nice venue for dinner and drinks. The prime rib dinner was excellent! Service was good with plenty of staff. The restaurant also has a nice soup and salad bar.

I had the steak. Wife had the pot roast. Both very good. Everyone seemed to k ow each other, which lent to a nice small town
Went in for Breakfast with my wife this morning and was told it would be half am hour wait on Breakfast. We ordered our breakfast and 50 minutes later we are told they ran out of Breakfast. I don't understand how it took them that long to realize they did not have enough food. Very poor service in my opinion.

The service was poor. Had to ask for coffee and for refills. Took 30 minutes for her to bring our food. People were having to ask for their food. Waitress kept visiting with a group of people and ignoring her customers. Order eggs over easy came over hard. Sausage was burnt. Will not go back again.

Had a recommendation from a sweet older man at a local museum to eat here, he gave us high hopes about this place. It’s a very cozy place, when you walk in there’s a salad bar a hostess who told us we could sit wherever. They handed us our menus as we sat wondering when the children would get their menu. After we ordered we were told our salads would be self served at the salad bar. As we were finishing up at the salad bar a worker came out of the back with a very unwelcoming scowl on her face and started talking to herself saying ‘Oh God’ and started stating how she hates messy people. All because a few croutons fell. As we were walking away she starts saying it louder, saying how much she hates messy people. Making sure she was heard, as she was returning the dropped croutons to the crouton section of the salad bar. Food was mediocre, nothing to write home about. The dessert cookie was wonderful, until I took a final sip of my drink and noticed a lipstick mark on the side of the cup. The workers should spend less time trying to start conflict with ‘messy’ people and instead clean their dining wear properly. Disgusting place with disgusting workers. Would not recommend.

Hopefully whoever owns this restaurant reads this. You need to get the tall waitress with the teeth in order real quick, before she runs off your business with her awful behavior.I sat ten feet from the front counter and sat with an empty coffee cup half the time I was there because this woman was too busy bad mouthing the owner and some other staff member and acting like she was the busiest person on earth. There weren’t even 15 people in the place. She’s literally cursing out loud, saying she wanted to punch some woman that told her what to do, saying she could just go ahead and leave and she doesn’t have time for this etc etc. She had time to be on and off her phone the entire time though. Meanwhile she couldn’t even say hello when I first walked in, and was angrily staring off at some other woman so hard while taking my order that I had to repeat it twice. She said not a single word to me the entire time I was there, and I had to sit and listen to her cursing and complaining for 45 minutes straight. I’d have been better off eating at McDonald’s.That young woman needs to learn to keep her troubles to herself, and this business needs to dump the bad apple before she takes more of their business out the door.It a shame too, the food was very good and the older ladies working there were as sweet as could be.

The food was great, I got to try fried cheese curds, HIGHLY recommend. I went around 11 am, it was very busy with elderly folks, perhaps go a bit later or earlier on the weekend if you'd like it to be less crowded. Just a good local place to eat with hearty home cooked meals.
