Food and service are excellent! The owner served up the best bierock I've had in the region. It was lunchtime, my first time there, and the entire experience has been great.

Best BBQ I’ve had in Kansas. Really impressed by the burnt ends & hot links. Somehow I hadn’t heard about this place, but glad I googled it. I stopped by for a LATE lunch on a Friday, and was greeted warmly & treated right the entire time. I ate way too much and took some home. Wish I would’ve had the peach cobbler for dessert, but I guess I just have to go back again 😋

I just would like to give Phil and Laura a huge ‘shout out’! Our family recently asked Boones Pickins to cater a family gathering for aprox 60. We went with pulled pork, brisket, pork n beans, corn pudding, cole slaw and rolls. Phil was very accomadating and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you Phil and Laura😘❣️

Went with the pulled pork sandwich and a side of corn pudding. No need to cover the pork with sauce. It was tender and seasoned well. The corn pudding was a surprise. If you've never had corn pudding you need to try it. Definitely give this place a try.

Amazingly tender and balanced Burt ends with a nice glaze of there sweet smoke house bbq sauce. An we had there peach cobbler Togo which was FANTASTIC Even Togo, just wish there was three time more I. My bowl.
Cozy little place! They were playing the Griffin Show and had cool wooden tables and bar. Owner is kind and they have amazing pea salad (which I had never had) will definitely be back!
