We were in Friday, 8/9/24...around 530...Service was a bit off...the two willowy servers were lovely, but not real together....however, the bananas foster crepe cake made up for it!! Oh and caprese when made traditionally has one slice tomato, one slice mozz and a basil leaf or chiffonade sufficient to cover both...ended up with extra tomatoes, but not a huge deal...

Metro Bistro has been amazing each time we’ve visited! Tried the Tuscan sandwich and the weekly special of Creamy Avocado Pesto Pasta. Our drinks were filled with (delicious) raspberry tea the whole time and the food was delicately prepared and amazing to taste!
We are so thankful for this hole in the wall, I wish more people knew about them.

Decent restraint, better than average hole-in- the-wall. Whenever I'm in town I try to find an excuse to drop in.

The bread pudding was exceptional.
Full disclosure, I didn't eat here after seeing inside the building. We used the bathroom, it was filthy. Restaurant smelled of garbage and there were flies everywhere.
Had the "Bomb." I'm old, but have a great memory... and this is the best sandwich I can remember. The place was full and the server (Peighton) did a great job of caring for all her tables. Energetic, friendly, and efficient; even thought she was the only wait staff working. We live out of town, but I would be a regular if I were local.

First and foremost this review has nothing to do with the wait staff. Our waitress was very kind; however, the was the most disgusting establishment I've probably ever set foot in. Immediately off the bat the floor was absolutely disgusting. The welcome area rug when you step inside looked horrid, and I would be terrified to hear when the last time they mopped the floor was. I unfortunately, ordered the fish sandwich before having time to look around and I would NEVER recommend that to anyone. It was absolutely frozen for who knows how long; however I will say my husbands chicken sandwich was good quality and no issues. At the booths there is a little lip on the wall that is frankly just a dust and grime collector and looks to be seldom wiped down, lastly lord have mercy get a fly trap! Seeing flies flying around the kitchen was unappealing. The floor was honestly enough to make me want to gag, especially looking at the nooks and crannies. It made me terrified and nauseous to think of the kitchen conditions.

I love metros food so it was unfortunate to get the service i got. She tells me 10-15 minutes. No problem. I walk in at 10 minutes to see a Togo bag on counter she tells me one second….. 10 more minutes later she reaches over heads seated at bar to grab a card from someone behind me. Then gives mine back even though it had already been ran. There really needs to be 2 waitresses on a Saturday lunch rush. Just not friendly at all. And my sandwich was just sitting there the whole time…

Always have great food, but definitely need to rethink their to-go packaging! Ordered a $55 takeout meal, because I didn't feel like cooking tonight. I should have saved myself the trouble. Riding passenger, with the bag containing 3 soups on my lap, and sandwiches in the back. Figured this was the safest bet, right? Wrong! Legs started burning, and all the sudden I'm covered in soup. They put the bowl of soup, on top of a smaller cup of soup. I appreciate the hot soup, but the bigger bowl collapsed/melted the plastic lid on the cup below. Now I'm down a cup of soup, have a soaked paper bag losing all of its contents, and trying to figure out how to save the other two soups. Also get to go clean the mess all over the car. Double check your bags before leaving. Pictures posted are after I tried to clean what I could while juggling the rest.

Everytime I go there the food is absolutely delicious. If you haven't eaten here you need to try it.
Kid-friendliness: Once on valentines day my boy was 4 yrs old and the waitress gave him a rose so he decided he was going to sit at the bar with his teddy bear and have lunch with the young waitress instead of us. We all had a laugh. It was cute. The waitress was very kind to my boy.

Business lunch offered, this place was nearby, first time visit, couldn't be happier. The place is kind of eclectic looking inside, not a lot of seating, small staff but the food came out pretty quick and was very good. Everything was fresh made and exactly as ordered.

I found this to be a great place to share a quiet lunch. I visited with my daughter after a recent business meeting. The food was tasty and well prepared / presented. The cost is a bit too high for a routine lunch visit (if you work in the Andover area). But, it is certainly worth it if you want something a step above the chain offerings in town.

Absolutely amazing. I stop by on my lunch breaks regularly and get something different each time. I've yet to be disappointed in anything I've tried. By far my favorite restaurant in the Andover
