Four of us stopped in for a late lunch. Two of us had the Southwest smash burger. Absolutely one of the best burgers ever…particularly the aioli sauce….Fantastic!

There are two parts to this restaurant there is the bar with your traditional bar food that is elevated and then there is a fine dining side. We made reservations and had the fine dining tonight. The chef Marco is make dishes that are hands down the best thing to eat anywhere in the Wichita area. The duck was perfectly cooked and had an amazing mole with it. The coffee teres major had a perfect balance of flavor with a slight touch of heat that makes you want more. I am not a professional food critic or restaurant reviewer so one of the real pros needs to go and try what this place is doing. And let the rest of the city know where they should be going for every special occasion in the future. Marco I will be back and I look forward to trying every last dish you come up with.

Best place to eat in Andover. Outside Patio for those cool nights. TVs in the bar area for the big games. And a quite side for fine dining with the one you love. Food was awesome. Service was 5 star. And the drinks had us feeling good. Daily specials on drinks and weekly food item special that was amazing. Definitely take the time to check it out. They even serve breakfast on Sundays and that was by far my favorite time to go.

I appreciate the upscale ambiance of this newly updated space. I ordered the duck main course. While the duck was tender and prepared well, the sides were underwhelming. The carrots were under-cooked (I could barely cut with a steak knife) and there were only a few Brussel sprouts. This dish could benefit from a garlic mashed potato side or rice pilaf or some kind of starch to enhance it. The wait person was most gracious as our meal was extremely tardy. The tab was discounted, which we appreciated. My partner had the the pork cutlet sandwich w chips, which he enjoyed.
The smash burgers are delicious! Gluten free options are available !

This restaurant is awesome! We have eaten in the bar area twice. And we will go back! The southwest smash burger is amazing, and I love their homemade chips. The pineapple margarita is delicious. They also have great daily specials. Tuesday is BOGO day.

We decided to try Abode on a Friday afternoon (1:30-2:00) thinking it would be less crowded. First, it is a smaller place so that needs to be taken into consideration. The bar stools at the tables aren’t very comfortable as they are a bit smaller and I’m not a big person. The table we chose was one of two available and it was a bit messy but we figured the waitress would wipe it clean once she got to us. It didn’t happen but the rest was a really good experience.
FOOD: The food was very delicious! We had the chips and salsa for an appetizer and enjoyed it. The three different salsas each had their own positive trait and we mixed em up a bit. My wife got the prosciutto melon salad and loved it. I got the special Rodeo burger and it was fabulous!
SERVICE: Even at 2 PM, the place was still busy so one server for everyone was a bit too much. She was friendly and managed to do decent but she could have used some help.
ATMOSPHERE: it’s a rather small but nice and quaint place that’s easy to enjoy. They’ve really fixed the place up. Great dining experience!
All in all, we rather enjoyed the meal and time spent there. Average pricing that you would see anywhere else. Thanks Abode!
