Ark City is lucky to have a family-owned business like SK Donuts — and we’re absolutely big enough to support more than one great donut shop in town. SK is owned and operated by the cutest little family from the Carolinas who have moved and made Ark City home… and wow…I wasn’t expecting to love their donuts this much! They are different than we are used to!
We grew up on a pretty dense and sweet style donut and those are great, but SK is totally different. These are LIGHT AS AIR and they literally melt in your mouth. They are sweet, but not cloying. (I can eat a couple without feeling like I need to take a nap afterward! 😂) SK has all the classics, plus cake donuts, and they’ll even fill their donuts with pudding or jam right there when you order. (They have Savory options too, but we buy the sweet. 😉)
Oh, and their “Vietnamese Coffee” drink isn’t just “good” - it’s phenomenal! Deep, bold and balanced by rich creaminess and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you stop mid-sip to just enjoy the moment. 😂 At almost $5, it still feels like a steal compared to a specialty drink at Scooters or Starbucks. Easily the best coffee in town, hands down.
Ark City is big enough to support more than one great donut shop, and I think SK 1000% deserves a spot in the rotation. If you haven’t tried them yet, it’s totally worth stopping in for that melt-in-your-mouth texture and an incredible Vietnamese coffee!

The new owners are very friendly, with fast service. They have a large variety of colorful, tasty donuts. Starting out the glaze/icing was to thin I'm sure they will learn to make it so the apple fritters,donuts have a proper glaze.
