last time I was in they over cooked my food to the point of it not being edible. The waitress was the only high point. Paid good attention to tables and had a pleasant attitude. When I went to pay they charged a sur charge on me for using a Debit card THATS ILLEGAL, won't be back. used to love this place.
Last time we ate here, the food wasn’t very good and the place was dirty. Thought we’d give it another try in case things had changed. Nope. Won’t be back. The salsa was so spicy, none of us in our group could eat it while we waited over forty minutes for our food. The rice was steaming hot but the rest of our food wasn’t even warm. Hope I don’t get salmonella from the two bites I tried eating! My burrito was served on a metal tray. Two others at our table had burritos also and theirs came on a heated plate like you usually get at Mexican restaurants. Do not recommend this place at all!!
Great Chile verde enchiladas and flan

Table not clean. Dirty cups. Waiter told us if we couldn't pay there was dish washing or manual labor. There was also a mystery dried booger behind me on the booth. I'm very unhappy with this experience

I had a tasty, filling meal here when I needed something nice after a long day on the road. All had a margarita the size of my head! Very much enjoyed
We've always liked coming to Maria's, but our last visit was disappointing. They were a little busy, so we understood it took a while to take our orders. But then we were told they don't do 2-for-tuesday tacos anymore. You have to buy them 3 at a time. My elderly Mom can barely finish 2 tacos. The 2fer was perfect, and the 3 of us would always order drinks and queso so as to not be total tightwads, lol. But we probably won't be coming as often.Because they also told us they don't do fried flour tacos anymore because it takes too long. I didn't say anything, but that really makes no sense. Just tell the customer that when they order fried tacos... that it will take longer. Then they can decide if it's worth the wait. In our opinion, it is.Hopefully, Maria's will reconsider these issues. We really like coming here otherwise.

Food was subpar for 1st & will be my last visit. California Burrito is drowned in a yellow cheese, I took 2 bites was done. The rice was very salty. The lemonade was watery, waitress said mix was an issue. Only good thing was the appetizer, jalepeno poppers.

Was looking for a new place to try - we found it.
Parking: Parking lot small - kind of hard to get into so option was to stay in the street. Not a problem at all.
