Fantastic coffee, wonderful pastries. The best carrot cake I've ever had. And a great supply of books!

Great visit today! Coffee is very good. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have a delightful place to visit and purchase books for prayer and spiritual needs and rosary and prayer beads.

The books, coffee and people at Pace e Bene are all top shelf. It has become one of our favorite places in Aitchison!

Pace e Bene is a wonderful little place. The coffee is probably the best in town (and well-priced), the bookstore has an excellent selection, and the owners and staff are incredibly kind and helpful. My wife and I are semi-regulars on the weekends, as is my father-in-law. We regularly see students and other Benedictine faculty there, which really adds to the community feel. The baked goods are also all made fresh in store and always delicious.I once came in the day before my wedding, stressed and desperately in need of caffeine. I ordered a double shot of espresso, thinking to down it quickly and rush off to my next errabd. However, it was priced under the minimum limit for credit cards and I had no cash on me. Julia Zia very kindly gave it to me for free, charging it as her free drink for the day and saying I needed it more than her. If that's not giving drink to the thirsty, I don't know what is.

What a fantastic place to socialize, study, or just read. There is something for everyone and they have wonderful gifts for the family. I love their gelato and wonderful coffee!

The family who owns this place is so hospitable and welcoming. I love all of the Catholic books, gift items, and art. There are lots of places to just hang out and visit. Delicious gelato and scones! I highly recommend Pace et Bene!

Smooth french press coffee. The scone was moist, flakey, and warm. Delicious. Great space to read a few chapters and enjoy.

This shop is a much appreciated addition to Atchison's downtown! They have an excellent variety of high-quality Catholic goods, from stickers and soaps to exclusive imports from Europe. But my favorite part is the cafe, serving delicious gelato, homemade baked goods (including one of the best chocolate cakes I have had!) and espresso-based beverages. The off-menu affogato is a winner!!

With Benedictine College in the area, downtown needed Pace e Bene (means..."Peace and all Good"). This place as Catholic Books, statues, art, plus coffee, gelato, and baked goods. The owner is a professor at the college and so very friendly. With two kids at BC, I will be here often!

Welcoming, clean, beautiful store. Bought a beautiful rosary that was made in Italy for a pretty reasonable price.

Their gelatos and espressos are wonderful. An affogato tied the whole thing together, very yummy. Nice book store to sit and chill and get some work done or chat. Sometimes busy, often times chill. Lots of good books and catholic paraphernalia. But i wouldn’t let that stop you from the gelato/espresso bar if that’s not your thing. Twas delicious!

I worked with Pace e Bene to cater desserts for a 70th birthday party. They exceeded expectations! We had 5 different bars in single-serving papers. Each and every one was delicious - and I know because I tried all of them!  Julia and Rosa were wonderful to work with - patient with an indecisive client, thoughtful in their suggestions, and expert in setting up before the party.  I would certainly recommend them for future events.

Came to Atchison to visit a friend and needed to kill some time while she was in a meeting at the local college. This place was warm and comfortable, with great coffee and even better gelato. If you're Catholic, you will really want to go here as it's also a Catholic bookstore. Just a great atmosphere overall.
