We had a family breakfast here and the food and service were great. Nice portions and not expensive. Eggs perfectly cooked, good biscuits and gravy. Recommended!

A solid three stars. They got slammed with a full house while we were there, so I understand why service was uneven. The bread was underbaked and doughy, but my fish was hot and fresh and my partner’s lasagna was just right. Decor was fine but very old.

Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was top-notch. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it feel like a true local gem. Highly recommend if you're in the Atchison area for a relaxing and delicious meal.

Clean, nice employees, but the breakfast is well below average.
Watered down coffee, ice tea had no favor. Pancake well done, no taste.
Bacon was over cooked, almist burnt.
Will not return.

About 5 of us walked in around 930 Friday morning 8-3-2024 and it was busy very busy I might add. So it was 15 min later when we were handed our menus and ask what we want to drink. 5 or 10 min later took our order. We were sitting there having a good time and laughing and such noticing people coming in and getting turned away due to being busy. About 1015am we were seeing people that came in after us getting up and leaving that had already eaten, about 1030am we asked about our order and was told we were next then 1045am still nothing. Two of my group got up and ask to speak with manager and told her about our order and she just simply yelled at them and made us look embarrassed cause all the people there looking at us and she said no you don’t have to pay for the drinks just leave, all we asked is why we have not gotten our order and it wasn’t busy around 1045am it slowed down. Me and another friend out of the group of 5 we have not been there this was our first time. Never will I go back EVER!!!!!!.

was greeted very friendly! ordered 2 orders of gizzards to go. the only thing good about them is they were hot. they were overcooked which in turn made them very hard and chewy and they had no flavor !!! waisted $11.

On a family road trip and decided to pop in for dinner. Was not disappointed. Old restaurant but well kept with excellent service. Tried to "fried" chicken, salad, french fries and soup of the day. Everything was absolutely excellent, cooked well and large portions. Prices were incredibly affordable. For $35 for my family of four, unheard of today. Was very happy with my visit. If you are passing through I definitely recommend stopping by.

So I wanted to try them a couple times make sure I give a proper. Let's start with Sunday breakfast buffet. 14.99 for a hotel buffet. Food was eh highlights gravy from biscuits and gravy and sausage if it was hot at all. Now lunch. I can tell you have some cooks that don't care for the ingredients you put out. Chicken parm I've ordered it twice. 1st time perfect, crispy chicken better flavor and texture. 2nd time chicken was soggy. Wasn't coated properly. Will still go and eat
