A solid three stars. They got slammed with a full house while we were there, so I understand why service was uneven. The bread was underbaked and doughy, but my fish was hot and fresh and my partner’s lasagna was just right. Decor was fine but very old.
Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was top-notch. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it feel like a true local gem. Highly recommend if you're in the Atchison area for a relaxing and delicious meal.
On a family road trip and decided to pop in for dinner. Was not disappointed. Old restaurant but well kept with excellent service. Tried to "fried" chicken, salad, french fries and soup of the day. Everything was absolutely excellent, cooked well and large portions. Prices were incredibly affordable. For $35 for my family of four, unheard of today. Was very happy with my visit. If you are passing through I definitely recommend stopping by.
