Wish I could rate higher as it’s close to home. Their salsa is always super spicy, so I can’t eat it. Their cheese dip is good and complementary with your meal. Their Enchiladas Cremosas are good, I really like the sauce (which is why I return). I wish the chicken wasn’t so dry. The service is hit or miss, oftentimes it’s slow. Will likely return but wish they’d make an even more mild salsa than the one they offer.

I had chips and salsa, guacamole and their white cheese sauce. For lunch I had the taco platter. It comes with 3 and I added 1 more. They were delicious. Much bigger than I expected. I was not able to eat the 4th taco I ordered. The only thing that I can say is the meat in the tacos was watery. Not greasy but watery. I think they precook a larger amount of taco meat ( which is fine everybody does) and add water so it doesn't burn in the bottom of the pan. But when they made the tacos ? they didn't make sure to get the excess water out of the meat. That made the shells soggy and fall apart. I like crunchy tacos not soggy taco shells. Other than that everything else was great. I was with several other people and no one had any complaints I will still go back, the food is good and pretty fast coming out of the kitchen.

First the all the people there are all really nice, and the food they have is amazing. I love the Pacifico which comes with shrimp, egg fried rice, fries, salmon. The chips they give out if amazing and wait time for your food is pretty good. And the severs there give you a laugh or two always and are nice to kids. So recommend going to El RodeoKid-friendliness: They are really good on making kids laugh

Great food, great flavors. Cold room, it was closed before before the group showed up. It was reserved so they should have planned for it. Overalll will go back.

Large portions. Excellent quality of food with a nice level of spiciness. They will up the "heat" if you ask. Kids meals are a nice portion. Large menu selections. I think their Tortuga is one of the best I've had, with fajita beef. Unfortunately I didn't get to finish it as my oldest granddaughter "traded" her chicken enchiladas for it. Attentive waitress, very friendly. They will sing for your birthday.

We love this restaurant. Never a bad experience except once. Probably an off day. We always get the Poyo Delicioso and Poyo Mazatlan. Any of the Poyo dishes are excellent. The chips and salsa plus queso are always on point. Sometimes salsa is more spicy than other times. Too bad they did away with the guacamole dip when guacamoles started getting pricey. Do yourself a favor and get the charro beans with your meal. If they made this as a meal it would be welcoming.Parking: The pot holes need fixed.

My husband and I were from out of town and wanted to stop by and grab lunch before heading back home. I’ve never left a review (good or bad) but we’ve recently had a lot of bad dining experiences and were so relieved and happy with our experience at Rodeo, so I really wanted to take the time to thank the entire staff. The food was delicious (I ordered the pollo rodeo and my husband ordered fajitas, their tortillas were amazing too) the service was incredibly fast, and both our server and hostess were great. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in KC :)
