Got a to go order of catfish. Came with a side of sliced potatoes with green beans, hush puppies, and cole slaw. The food was delicious and seemed really healthy. I see why this place is rated 4.8 stars. Keep making delicious food, Mystic Kitchen, and I'll be back.

Their food is “OUT STANDING”. They are a small operation tucked away in a small quaint town. The people are family friendly and the atmosphere is totally captivating. I try to eat there whenever we are anywhere close to them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Where to begin .... the bierocks are amazing! Both the original and the breakfast. The muffins - wow! I ordered 4 dozen for an event. I received a variety. I can't tell you which we liked best, they were all so good. Friends came in from out of town. The reubens, homemade chips and the fresh squeezed limeade were over the top. Such a great place to go to. Always good food. Worth the drive, even with the crazy detours in this very small town.

It was advertised to buy beirocks on Facebook. I do not shop in Bel Plaine, did not know that this place is an apparent business. It was advertised on Facebook that my husband I could get 1 order of 6 beirocks for $30. They did not say 1 order of 6 beirocks for $30 plus tax. Fortunately my husband had a little extra cash but not everyone carries extra cash. My husband is not sure how the kid that waited on him was involved in the apparent business but he was very very rude. We will not be back to Bel Plaine, will not be back to the so called business called the Mystic Kitchen and will leave a bad review on Yelp so others know how bad the place is.

What FANTASTIC experience! oh my gosh, the food was AMAZING! Everything was homemade fresh and homecooked to perfection and love. Lori, the owner and cook made you feel like family with her kind and welcome nature. The portion was huge a d I am so excited to eat leftovers tonight. I HIGHLY recommend and we will be back!!❤
