Im leaving this review after my family fled Belleville to escape Arnold's & the White's horrifying harassment. The whole town knew about it. Adam city manager & Council members alike. Heed my warning before you support Belleville. It is small-minded and toxic. You can build up how you want, but the town will crumble under the same small town mentality. It is dangerous for transplants.

If you live in Belleville and/ or the vicinity of Republic County, this is really the only place there is to eat. The food here is pretty good and therefore, I would recommend it.

Are there today (sat.) I can honestly say it was the worst breakfast I've ever had eating out. That includes the service. The hash browns were soggy, the bacon greasy and the scrambled eggs were just flat eggs not scrambled. We got there at 1046 and was told no as to getting the lunch menu. Of course the two people next to us that were obviously well known to the help were able to order steaks!!??? Oh also the waitress who was really good at disappearing could not even count my change back and luckily for her I'm honest and helped her. Will definitely not be back and we were 3 of a total of 6 customers. So I assume not the only ones that feel this way. ??
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere.

Horrible food. They served boxed Kraft Mac n cheese & it tasted like a third grader cooked it--it literally had no cheese only noodles (that was the most plentiful item on the plate). The price was too much for what was lacking in quality. Slow service & deep regret eating

This is certainly a place that locals go. I sat near a table of farmers who were "chewing the fat" the whole time! I like this kind of place for that reason. The dinner salad was clearly just a handful of salad mix from a bag with nothing extra. The hamburger, on the other hand, had every characteristic of a delicious hand pattied, perfectly cooked burger, with all the add-ons.The lady serving me was welcoming and did her job well. The bathroom was updated and worth the price of the meal if you are passing through on a road trip.Don't judge this place by the outside looks. The food is decent.

Loved being ignored. 20 minutes and neither waitress even acknowledged our presence. The elderly lady clearing tables did bring us water. Maybe the locals love it but travelers - go to DQ.
I was there with a bunch of co workers and not one person complained. I had the grilled shrimp skewers and it was really good with mashed potatoes and a salad. The others had steaks and burgers and everyone said that it was good and steaks cooked perfectly. Beer and mixed drinks was good as well. I will be back again.

Servi ce was fair. Ordered a brisket sandwich. I expected sliced brisket. I received pulled brisket. It felt quite "local"? I just didn't feel like I was welcome there .
