Ran across this place via a Google search on our way to Nebraska. The food was basic hamburger, sandwich fare but served promptly and with a smile. It is nothing fancy but for a quick lunch on a road trip it certainly did the trick. I would definitely recommend that you give it a try if in the area.

Great family owned and run business. Food so good, I forgot to get pics! Ham and Swiss sandwich and steak fingers with white cream gravy were delicious! Onion rings were on point and serving sizes were generous. Well worth the price! Must stop here when going through eastern Kansas on Hwy 24. And don't forget to stay at the Backyard Lodge, mom and pop owned as well. 😊

The food was decent but the atmosphere was unsettling. 2 staff members were yelling at each other 2-3 times in the 20 minutes we were there. We won’t stop there again Had the yelling started before we ordered we would have left.

Went at 8am for breakfast was the only option in town that we found. This was the 1st time ever at this place. The lady at the register acted like we knew the menu and didn't want to really explain certain options. The place was very dirty flys were terrible and the bathrooms I don't think had been cleaned in months, I'm assuming that's why most of the patrons used the drive thru maybe they knew how the inside was or didn't care.
My wife and I like this place. The people are so friendly. The prices are great and the food is 👍

Perfect old-fashioned burger!! Fresh beef grilled to juicy perfection!! Came across Banner on a road trip, and so glad we stopped! Very friendly service, too. Sad we missed the homemade pie, but hope to return someday to try it!

Amazing food that you just cannot replicate in this modern day. Such a wonderful experience that was like going back in time when the food was delicious and the service was extraordinary.
