We both eat in and drive thru and receive excellent and friendly service either way. Even if we show up at 5 minutes before closing, the staff is very friendly and doesn't make us feel like we are a burden keeping them from closing on time.

Dietary restrictions: I love dairy queen hamburgers. Last night went for ice cream. I ordered a turtle blizzard. When I got it it was only with pecans. Very disappointed. Unfortunately I don't live that close that I could go back in to get the right thing.
Service and atmosphere is always great!! The food is inconsistent on taste and quality. The toast with a chicken strip basket is most of the time not buttered which is just dry toast that I don’t need/want! Although, recently it did have butter which is where the inconsistency is. Hamburgers are sometimes really good and sometimes terrible. Glad to have a DQ locally!
Even at 12:30 pm on a Sunday being packed, they were like a well oiled machine. Great service, great food, and cheaper than alot of DQs!

I was super impressed when they brought our food out and they handed it out telling us what each item was rather than just giving up the tray and running back to the back. This act turned this five-star restaurant into a 10-star restaurant I would eat here everyday just because of the service.Dairy Queen in Beloit Kansas is a nice place. Dairy Queen at the place where you can get a lot of ice cream. Dairy Queen awful makes dilly bars which are great. You can order ice cream cake at dairy Queen which is really nice. The food is excellent for a fast food restaurant such as dairy Queen. The service is as you would expect from a fast food restaurant. The staff appear to be nice. The facility is clean and modern. Just dairy Queen does have high chairs for children.
Vegetarian options: It is unclear if you should be eating here if you are a vegetarian most of the main dishes are meat.

Parking: Just parking lot is barely large and have a lot of spaces which can accommodate a lot of people

My job requires me to travel extensively through several states. While on the road, I visit a variety of new and favorite restaurants. It might be fast food, it might not, but either way- there are some standards I have come to require and look for. Some of those things are cleanliness, ambiance and especially service. Just because a person is away from home a lot doesn’t mean they can’t feel like they’re at home when dining, right?
I found a place like this, which just happens to be Dairy Queen in Beloit, KS- owned and operated by Mike and Amber Heiland. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out- besides the fact it’s fast food- you feel at home! It’s chill and cool atmosphere, combined with an overall cleanliness you won’t find anywhere, makes a person feel at ease. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Even when busy, the food comes out quickly. This is the first fast food restaurant I’ve been to that the food comes out looking like it does in the pictures. Seems small, but it’s huge to the consumer. Presentation is key and let me tell you, they do it right!
Next up, after ordering, I went to the bathroom to wash up. In a small town, this can be hit or miss. Their bathroom was very clean and you could tell it had been kept that way. No trash on the floor, the stalls and the mirrors were clean.
Coming back out, before my food came out, the staff struck up a conversation. They loved their jobs (this is due to the incredible leadership they must have,) and were just all around happy and jovial. I asked what was their favorites and what I should get next time. The interesting thing was, they never stopped moving and were constantly working. When my food came out and they handed it to me in the bag (I was on the road and wanting to get home,) the workers up front all said, “Have a safe trip!”
The food was hot, crisp and fresh! The burger was the best fast food burger I have had in a long time. Combine that with the hot, crispy, PERFECTLY cooked fries just perfected the meal!
Mike and Amber- keep doing what you’re doing! The service and overall experience I had rivaled anything I have EVER ran into. The cleanliness, atmosphere, even the lighting was incredible. Thank you to you both and your crew! I can tell details matter here and if you’re ever on the road through Beloit, KS- Dairy Queen is a MUST TRY!
