We had the grilled cheese special for today with the tomato basil soup. I don’t even like tomato soup, but it was soooo delicious!! The grilled cheese was wonderful with all the different kinds of cheese. I’ve been here many times and I know I’ll be back!!🥰

Simply amazing place. Small and local with a great layout. The staff is friendly and shows care in their customer service. Food has been top notch every time. Drinks are delicious. I eat there every visit to Beloit and suggest it to everyone, even if it means them driving.
Just like all places, I have my favorites on the menu. The Castro is by far what does it for me. The staff is always helpful, kind and welcoming. Food always comes out in a timely manner. I don’t think there is anything on the breakfast menu that I wouldn’t eat. Back when I was a coffee drinker, this place was my go to. The healthy, homemade food choices are worth the prices to keep a small business going.

We stopped at Kettle on our long drive from northern MN to southern CA and it was one of the high points of the 2,000+ mile trip!We ate the day’s special grilled cheese (provolone, sweet potato, kale, and some kind of delicious sauce), a cubano sandwich, and a Caesar salad, and they were all delightful. Apparently the cubano is very popular, as well as the special grilled cheese that’s different every day. But the surprise was the homemade Caesar dressing and crispy fresh greens. My husband: “That’s about the best salad I’ve had in years!”Plus the sweetest staff and an adorable interior. We might have to make this a stop on every cross-country trip!
