Had an honest to goodness double burger done the old school way in a little diner in Bern, KS today. That old flat top has flavor aplenty and try as the new places might, this is the little diner/lunch place that made a burger with all the flavor I remember from the Drug Store or Bowling Alley as a kid. Bern Cafe, they only serve lunch (but do offer catering) and wow what a burger.If you find yourself traveling Hwy 36 and want a really great burger with crispy krinkle fries...
