Big Ed's is worth a detour off of the interstate. Rustic and clean atmosphere, friendly service, and hearty home-cooked food. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. I had the Big Ed's Cut Ribeye with a baked potato and a salad. The green beans and bread were not necessarily expected but very delicious. The steak was cooked how I wanted and tasted delicious. If Kansas beef is the envy of the world (and it is), Big Ed's is a place you should go to experience it. Family-friendly, small town establishment with character and delicious food.
