Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Food was served hot and fresh, ice cream was cold and pleasing! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Very few DQ's are around anymore, this one is located in Old downtown Bonner Springs, KS, on K-32 hwy. They just remodeled the store and it is a comfortable atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places to treat myself when the urge for soft serve hits me.

Edit 09/16/25:
Wow the menu got expensive and the ice cream SHRANK! Small sizes now! And just to give you an idea, 1 peanut buster parfait, 1 bacon cheeseburger (single, no fries, no drink) was $18 after tax!!!!!!!! Prooooooobably won't be coming back here. Good luck DQ, hope it works out for ya. Shame.

It is usually busy here when it comes to the evening, but the staff is always helpful and try to be as quick as possible. We normally come up for dipped cones, but occasionally we do grab a chicken basket or take advantage of they're $7 meal deals. Parking may be a little difficult depending
depending on the time of day, but still a great place to stop in for a quick cheap bite or even an ice cream. Dont forget to check out their ice cream cakes or snag a box of dilly bars on your way out.

The friendliest DQ on the planet! Every time I’ve went to DQ in Bonner Springs, there’s been at least one person behind the counter smiling
I usually get Chicken Strips w/country gravy and fries. Substitute rings for fries

Fun little place in downtown Bonner Springs. Clean, friendly and good eats.

Had lunch today very impressed w young man who took our order. Onion rings delicious, cheeseburger mediocre meat was not warm.

Nostalgic from my childhood and the ice cream was good

Please make sure you read the small sign with your glasses on you might not get the service you would expect from unknowable staff working that day. Be kind ask questions otherwise pull over and wait

Good food you can get a special of two sandwiches hamburgers provide dollars the ice cream sundaes etc are always pretty good quick service freshly made food is a good place to go.

Horrible horrible all the way around. Rude cashier arguing with me and didn't take my order until I got to window to show her that you do have a 4 piece chicken strips basket. Then had to wait at sign while 3 cars behind me got their food and if course the complimentary ice cream. I went off on the girl and guess what NO ice cream for me. My food was warm not hot like it had just been cooked. Never will I ever go back there.

We love the food and friendliness.... but please make me understand something. Why do you give me ice cream in 87° weather and then have me park and wait for hot food? Now my icream is melting and I am waiting for food.... feels like a waste of money and super frustrating.....

The lady at the counter even brought it out to my car before 5 minutes were up!
