This is a great little coffee shop in Burlington, KS. They carry a nice selection of local honey, local flour, and other hand-crafted items. They also have delicious locally made ice cream.

Stopped in last night to top off our date, went for the waffle cone with a double scoop and was transported to my childhood, at Johnsons family pharmacy. Absolutely amazing! Chocolate and the butterfinger Absolutely hit!

I loved this place, met a friend for coffee and a good talk. Their couch is super comfortable. We sat and talked for hours, the chai was delicious and they brought us waters. The bathroom is clean.

I’m so glad I visited this fantastic little shop as o was driving through Burlington. I stopped for a Matcha latte, which was delicious, but sampled the exquisite house-made ice cream and left with some baked goods handmade soaps! It’s not just a coffee shop… They have breakfast and lunch options as well as a little store full of locally made gifts. Awesome staff, too. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it!

I recently visited here and unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning. The coffee was mediocre at best, lacking the depth or quality I’d hoped for. What really stood out to me, though, was the lack of hospitality. When we entered, there was no greeting, no acknowledgment, and no “we’ll be right with you.” It felt unwelcoming from the start.
Honestly, if I hadn’t had my kids with me excited for a smoothie and milkshake, I would have walked out. While the drinks for the kids were okay, the overall experience left much to be desired. A little friendliness and attentiveness would go a long way in improving the atmosphere and customer experience.

Stopped by to grab some coffee during a road trip and was not disappointed. There was a bit of a line when we got there but the service was quick. Before ordering we asked what type of matcha they had and they happily showed us the brand they use. We were happy to see they use organic ceremonial grade matcha so we got that and a salted caramel latte. Both were delicious, especially the matcha and for a very reasonable price!
The coffee shop itself was cute. They have lots of cool little local items for sale like art, honey, and even flour! There is ample seating for studying, dining, or just chilling and they have fun little board games to play. Overall it was a nice coffee shop that absolutely satisfying our coffee craving for the road!

Cute, cozy, tons of options, and the staff jumps to serve you! They roast their own coffee, make their own ice cream, and bake their own pastries in large sizes covered in frosting. Delicious fruit smoothies as well!
In their adjacent shop you can purchase ice cream pints, fresh donuts, local honey, hand made earrings, fresh local beef, tee shirts, mugs, sodas, candy and locally milled grains.
It’s a fun place to bring the kids and play a board game over. Waffle cone, or bring your friends for an hour of unique shopping.
Try it!
Parking: Drive east down DesMoines and park on DesMoines (one way) at I-75, or pull in south of the cafe on I-75 and drive north around the cafe to the parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: The ice cream is amazing and there are family games and samples of hand made caramels! The smoothies are great too in flavors like mango, berry, strawberry, and pins colada. Share a giant cinnamon roll in a pink lemonade flavor, a blueberry muffin or scone, carrot cake donuts, or a bagel! The spinach Gouda roll is awesome, but needs a bit more Gouda!

For a small town, you can’t ask for a better coffee experience. They roast their own beans and have access to local honey. They also make their own ice cream, usually four flavors, but others are also available in their freezers. They have a nice variety of home baked goods.
