We were a group of seven. Most of us ordered chicken fried steak. It was amazing! The Barn was very busy! Our waitress Kylee was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, efficient and went the extra mile. We had a little one who saw someone with an orange slice in their drink. Our waitress promptly got an orange slice for her sprite. Thanks for a great evening!

We had the greatest experience from day 1. We used The Barn's North Forty room for our wedding reception and it was effortless from the first moment reaching out to book the room. The room coordinator was so friendly and quick to respond, the restaurant was incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, and the price... amazing! We fed 20 people a full dinner plus 3 appetizers and had the room to celebrate all for around $471. Our entire experience was wonderful all around.

Went with a friend who raved about this place. All 3 of us ordered the chicken fried steak. Also got really good margaritas. Decor and server were great. When the meal came, I got an extremely small portion of broken up green beans and a small portion of mashed potatoes. The steak looked great with batter and gravy but… we could hardly cut bites of the steak and could hardly chew and swallow as it was so tough! The batter was very tasty . I took the batter off and the meat was all dried up and gross looking. There were not many people dining this night and servers were standing around. My guess is the cooks reheated old steaks and served them. Too lazy in the kitchen this night. My green beans seemed like broken up bits from the bottom of a pot- yuk. The rolls were super doughy- not baked enough! We will never return here and our friend was quite embarrassed as he had raved about this place! A big storm was coming so we paid and hurried out- we should have asked to not pay as I brought my leftovers home to give to the dog! But we quickly left!

Went to celebrate sons BD. Hadn't been there for along time. Tonight changed that!!! Food was excellent. From the steak, catfish to the chicken fried steak. We're from Newton. Already planning our next outing. Service EXCELLENT!!!!!
