Lack luster place to eat, will fill up the belly. The food itself was bland and very like out of a box, they didn’t have anything that seemed homemade. Three of us ate and left over 3/4 of our food on our plate. I really hate that since there aren’t many choices in a small town like that. You have no clue who I am am well if you would like to speak to my boss call me, you only want reviews if they are good reviews… you know like the ones you have your friends go on there and put I am not changing my opinion I gave an honest review. I would not have given them this review if I had not seen the owner's response to another review. I ate there in the evening and ordered their ribeye. I knew this was not a steakhouse and did not expect the best. The steak tasted decent but it was overcooked. I mentioned it was overcooked only because the waitress asked me. It was not a complaint, it was just an honest response to an honest question. The reason I'm writing this review is because I went back the next morning for biscuits and gravy. The biscuit we're dry and crumbled to pieces when you cut them with the fork. The gravy had fatty chunks in it that may have been some sort of sausage. It had no flavor. Some restaurants ask for honest feedback so they can improve. After the response I saw from the owner to one of the others in our group because of his feedback, I felt it important to give a review also. If this restaurant owner thinks the food they serve is that top-notch then I expect this review will get the same as the last I saw. If this owner truly wants his restaurant to succeed, I hope he takes an honest look at the food that's being served and can see that there is room for improvement.
He doesn't have to worry about threatening me, I will not be back.

This was really a great place. We were driving through and stopped by for lunch. It’s a typical small town diner. It is clean inside and has a huge menu of breakfast (served all day) and lunch to choose from, with supper options for the evening.
Everything we ordered was very delicious, a solid serving size, and had a very nice waitress. The prices are very reasonable, especially for what you get.
We’re glad we chose this stop over a pizza buffet. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it!

Love Elvis? You'll love the Red Barn. I saw a teenager try to eat the bacon double cheeseburger. He couldn't get his mouth around it! Wife had the lighter cheeseburger (1/4 pounder with fries). I had the 1/2 lb chicken fried steak with eggs. Pies are not homemade, but still delicious and only $2.50 slice. Thanks, Page... great job.
