This is 100% a local dive bar. Yes they have a kid’s menu but, the food is not their main focus. I would not recommend this place for families. When we visited they were out of a number of their menu items including the steaks and cod.

Vegetarian options: There are no vegetarian or vegan options.

Dietary restrictions: There are no gluten free or diet options. Typical greasy fried bar food.

Kid-friendliness: This is a local dive bar. Only bring your family if you are comfortable having them in that type of environment. Limited non-bar seating.

Had the brisket special. It was tough and tasted like it was heated up in the microwave. Service was poor. Seemed as though the bar tender was more engaged in conversations at the bar then waiting on us.

Love this place. We’re from Salina and are staying up north for awhile. The folks at this place treat us so well and the food is awesome! Can’t beat the taco deal on Tuesday.

Bar atmosphere with a home feel. Stopped in with my husband and kid, sat at the bar and felt more comfortable than ever. Being from Maine I am used to seeing people in hunting gear. This felt like home, and no one took a second glance at the absolute outsiders. Anyone passing by or near by. This is the place...and get the damn cheese fries.This is a home place for locals that welcomes outsiders. Which is not something you get often.
