Since I have been coming to this subway and the change of employees, the quality of the food preparation has declined. You charge a hefty price for sandwiches that includes meat, but a veggie sandwich is $8.00 but I don’t get enough veggies, I get mostly bread even if I get it on a wrap. It’s like they’re being trained to count the vegetables. I shouldn’t have to ask for enough veggies so I can feel like I’m eating a sandwich. I also got a chicken teriyaki sandwich that was very skimpy on the chicken and veggies, normally that is the heaviest of the sandwiches that I purchase. I also bought a tuna with avocado very light on tuna, avocado and veggies.
I put in an online order, discovered it was wrong after getting home. My husband called the store, girl answered who was just getting there and handed the phone to a lady, Lacy was the name. I asked if I could bring the sandwich back and get a refund for it, I was told no. 🤣🤣That’s enough of Subway for me, Goodscents is better anyway.
They let us place and pay for an order, go to the store to pick it up, but only once inside did they inform us that they are out of bread. They only had flat breads available. We get running out of things but don't sell things you don't have.
Food was OK. Employees were goofing off. One very nice young man smiled and greeted me. His name was Trenton. Very polite and took my order. The manager didn't seem too friendly and was actually rude. Great service from Trenton. Keep up the friendly service young man!!
Got a couple sandwiches were very good, but this last time couldn’t eat because the bread was so soggy on inside. Definitely don’t expect on a toasted sandwich, probably shouldn’t be wrapped in foil.
Order a boss sandwich and requested extra pepperoni so should have gotten 6 extra slices and extra pickles literally only got 6 picked and added bell pepper and lettace. Half the sandwich only had one slice of bell pepper and the other had two. I called the store to ask why my sandwich was made that way when I paid for extra meat I didn't receive and then on top of that the other toppings where hardly even there all the employee had to say was I don't really know I'm not the one who made the sandwich. Then said I could come in and they would give me a little thing of pickles and the pepperonis that should have been on my sandwich in the first place.
Day shift manager is rude and very unhelpful. Website for the Clay center subway says it delivers. IT DOES NOT.
I was driving and wanted subway but have my toddler in the car. I called to see if I can order over the phone so we could just run in and get it instead of trying to order it with my child hanging all over me.
Instead of just telling me they don't do over the phone but do accept online orders, they just hung up. So instead of me being able to pull over somewhere to put in the order, I just had to go in.
Its not about having to change up the order type or taking my son in. It's the hanging up on a customer who was only asking a question that was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
I hadn't eaten yet so I was shaky and couldn't think straight. All they needed to do was say no, online or in person only.

At approximately 3:10 p.m., Saturday, Sept 28, 2024 we called to place an order to pick up. We were told they didn't know how to take a phone order, so we went in the store as soon as we got to Clay Center. We walked into the store at approximately 3:20. There was one customer seated at a table eating his meal, and another customer waiting for her order. Your employee Jessica was at the counter and I honestly don't know exactly what she was doing, it looked like she might have been refilling maybe meat and or sauce pans. I have spent many years in the foodservice industry and am usually very tolerant of employees who are obviously in training, however, we were never greeted, we waited at least 10 minutes before we were asked for our order. First we ordered 2 footlong roast beef sandwiches on Italian herb and cheese bread. Jessica got the roast beef on the first sandwich and went to the cooler, came back and informed us they were out of roast beef, except for two slices, so we changed the second sandwich to the beast. We asked for provolone cheese and again Jessica went to the cooler only to come back and inform us they were out of provolone. The other person in my party asked them to look again because we doubted that there was no provolone. The young man working did go find provolone, and the sandwiches were passed to the veggie area. I then ordered a 6 in chicken bacon ranch on italaan herb and cheese, which I wanted toasted. As I went to pay I asked if they had the footling cookies. I was assured that they did and I ordered one. A young lady who had just got to work rang up my order, and I paid with my debit card while the young man went to get a cookie from the cooler. Imagine my surprise when he came out of the cooler and announced they were out of cookies and would have to refund the price of a cookie. I will say that although the young lady at the register was uncertain as to how to issue a refund, she did a great job. I left your restaurant at 3:54 pm. I know that as an owner or manager you cannot correct what you don't know is happening when you are not there. To be completely honest, your employees acted as if they had never worked there before this afternoon. I was absolutely not satisfied with our service, and feel that your employees need more training in how to greet and wait on customers. I will most likely not return to your place of business in the near future. The food quality was absolutely acceptable, however the service sadly was not.

Due to technical issues, I was unable to complete my online order. I visited the store to inquire if they would accept the online promotion despite the system being down. However, the store staff informed me that they were unable to do so. I believe this should be accepted as it is an issue with the online system, not with the customer.

Stopped in this evening after a busy day. Service was great. The guys in there were friendly, attentive and helpful and the restaurant was clean. I got my sandwiches quickly even though they were busy. Food was good also. Great to see a small town franchise meeting and exceeding expectations.

We ordered online and the sandwiches were incorrect. I called and the manager was extremely rude and seemed to be bothered by my call. I am so sorry that the small town I live in is this overwhelmed that the only outlet they have is to be rude to the customers that support their income ?
