We had stopped going to LJS several years ago because the meals were always so greasy, especially the fish. Traveling thru Coffeyville on a Sunday afternoon, we weren't sure how fresh our meal would be... But we were hungry so we took a chance. So glad we did! Every part of our meal was fresh and hot when it was brought out to us. We were both so surprised! The fish was light, not greasy, and tasted fresh. The coleslaw was ice cold and very tasty. Fresh hush puppies that were also light and flavorful without being greasy. Best fast-food fish meal we have had in a long time. Two weeks later we were traveling thru on a Saturday afternoon. They were quite busy. But as we had hoped, our meal was cooked fresh for us, and we were so pleased. Expressed our appreciation to the manager before we left. Very nice staff. Worth the stop!
