Not true BBQ, there are so many small family owned BBQ Places that have way better food. Support Local.
Their general manager, Michael Philo, is a known rapist and has wittingly spread sihpylis to multiple people, including at least one person under the age of 18. Genuine scum of the Earth who makes me ashamed to share a species with him. Cannot believe they would hire him.
Stopped at the Joplin Mo Billy Sims at 12:45 for 1/2 of pound of sliced brisket. The they at the drive through was very rude. And informed me they had just done a big catering and had no sliced brisket. Isn’t that your business? How does a place that’s main menu idea brisket and they are out? Other brisket place was happy to take my money.

Service was okay but the food was not good. I had to use all of the bbq sauce to get it down. The turkey was decent but the Brisket was dry and the green beans weren't seasoned. The atmosphere was okay.

**Update** They asked my to reach out and I did they never bothered to respond back to me. It feels like it is all for show in the comments section; Dry “brisket” is like saw dust. Thrown in a container like they don’t care. Not worth the $$$$. Just Don’t do it we basically just threw money away.

We are from out of town and were hoping for some good bbq after a long day driving. This slop in a box is what they call a signature dish on their website. This was supposed to be the load baked potato with smoked turkey. It looks terrible. Didn’t bother to dress the potato properly at all. There’s barely any cheese or sour cream. They couldn’t even bother to chop up the turkey, or even put enough turkey on the spud. I certainly think the person who put this together wouldn’t have made it for themselves like this if they were going to eat it. Dine in, takeout, or delivery, it shouldn’t matter on the quality of how the food is presented. Each person is a paying customer and deserves quality. Most of the time customers who are using a delivery app are paying even more for the same items, and I would never serve this to a paying customer. My husband’s plate wasn’t any better. The green beans taste straight from a can with no seasoning. The “toast” was a wet, soggy piece of bread. The brisket was so dry it was disintegrating and totally inedible. Zero stars! Avoid this place and try some place else. I would love my $63 back.

Coming from out of town from Texas wanted to try some Dodge City barbecue and somebody recommend Billy Sims. So I took my family over there for family of four it was almost $ 100 and our macaroni and cheese was cold the baked beans was lukewarm and the barbecue didn't taste as good as you could have bought at a store. Very, very disappointed in Billy Sims Barbecue. I heard so much about it and it didn't live up to his name or was worth $90.
