First time trying central station even though we are locals. I ordered a drink it cost $10 and it was suppose to have whiskey but the drink was very watered down (no liquor taste or smell) ordered the porterhouse which was tough hard to cut. Green beans were plain mashed potatoes portion was just a small icecream scoop. I was suppose to receive a salad as well but it wasn’t served. I asked for A1 it never came The potato appetizer was just four on the plate, and no side plates were provided to share between my husband and I so the ranch wasn’t dripping everywhere. Not the restaurants fault but the table we were sat next to were loud and obnoxious. I thought by asking to be set in the restaurant family part versus the bar part. It would be a better ambience, but we were wrong and the table behind us found a hair in their food.

Delicious food. Great service. A hidden gem in Turkock!

To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, I chose this place based on the reviews for the best steakhouse in Dodge. I was unfortunately hugely disappointed.

With Dodge City being cattle country, everyone talks about the steaks, I had high hopes for an amazing steak!

My husband had an 18oz Porterhouse medium rare and I had a 10oz sirloin, medium. Both were very tough, his super sinewy and tough, he barely could chew it. Mine I could eat OK, but it wasn't pleasant and I only ate about a third. The flavor wasn't even that great. With the water runoff, my husband felt his had just came out of the freezer before being cooked. :(

It was a cute place and we sat in the train car for dinner, then had a beer at the bar. Nice atmosphere but the food was a big disappointment (except for the green beans, they were awesome!). Our server Valerie was great. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant though. The steak quality is not there!

Ribeye steak was thinly cut. Should have gone with KC strip. Steak was cooked properly. Did not have horseradish on hand. No butter with roll. Roll was cold. The potato skins were not worth it…do a different potato…very friendly staff and cold beer.

My wife had the chicken parm and was very happy with it. She said the noodles were hot and that’s not always the case when ordering a pasta dish. I had the Central Station Ribeye and found it to be underwhelming. It was cooked just fine, but it seemed under seasoned , and it didn’t cut and chew like a $32 steak. I think maybe it was a lesser grade of meat…? The service and atmosphere was great however and I would certainly come here again, but I would got for a different entree and pass on the steak.

Waitress did her best but open access to public is too much for a clean dining experience

Our waitress was a treasure. Did her job perfectly and was very polite and professional. Salad, green beans, and steak fries were very very good. My steak came out well done and I ordered med rare. They prepared another and it was literally tartar. I overheard another wait staff person tell the cook the steak they were serving looked underdone, so it was not an issue with just us. My husband's steak, another cut, was cooked as ordered. Loved the old train car we sat in. A little sad as we came specifically for a local steak at a local business. Waitress offered complimentary dessert or a discount, but we needed to leave. I ate only some of my steak. Didn't want to be a problem.

Me and my husband ate here last weekend during our visit to Dodge City. We went based on TripAdvisor reviews and it didn't disappoint. Food and service was very good. I had steak and my husband had Mexican food. Nice variety of food on the menu. Family friendly place to eat.
