El Charro Restaurant

I had an exceptionally disappointing experience at the restaurant that left a sour taste—figuratively and literally. After eagerly anticipating my takeout order, I arrived home only to find the food lukewarm and clearly over-processed, devoid of any freshness or flavor. The tacos were particularly disheartening; they arrived soggy and unappetizing, rendering them nearly inedible. As if that wasn’t enough, I unpacked my meal to discover that my order was incomplete—both the rice and beans were missing entirely. Feeling frustrated and let down, I decided to call the restaurant to express my concerns. Unfortunately, I was met with an astonishingly rude and dismissive response from the staff, which only deepened my disappointment. Given this experience, I have no intention of returning to this establishment.

Waited 45 minutes for rubbery shrimp and burnt steak, we had to go find a waiter for drink refills and they weren’t busy

I love El Charros, family oriented and good atmosphere.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and very convenient and flat floor throughout restaurant. The bathroom might be on the smaller side but still accessible.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican, this is not the place. Who has a buffet with chicken and potatoes in a Mexican restaurant. Great service though.

Every time I come to Dodge, this is a MUST!! Excellent food! Enchiladas, Sweet Tea, snd the Salsa… can’t go wrong! Plus the service is always outstanding!
