The miso was okay, ginger dressing on the salad was tasty. The California roll was subpar at best. The tempura shrimp was not tempura batter, and they gave such minimal sauce with the tempura. What really earned the rating was cross contamination... A staff member went from the sushi bar to the register. Took the gloves off at the register and put them back on after done with the transaction. Went to the back kitchen with the same gloves on.. opening the door with palm flat.. then went right back to the sushi bar and started making rolls... SAME GLOVES. The health department really should take a look at this place.
Decent place, but there was no flavor. No flavor in the soups, the rice, and most disappointing, the sushi. The only plus was that there was no fishy flavor. Nice waitress, good service. Probably fine for folks in town, but if you're used to eating good food, this is probably not the place for you.

It looked like a nice place but before we got our entries a cockroach ran on the wall between booths…NOOOOOOIf they’re in the dining room, they’re in the kitchen running over the food ?

We were looking forward to a nice meal but had to leave before the entrees came because a cockroach ran across a wall between booths. NOPE! If it's in the dining room then there's more in the kitchen

The worst Sushi my husband and I have ever had. Complained to server, her reply was it doesn't matter if you didn't eat it or like it you still need to pay for it. Really disgusting Sushi rolls.

Being a California transplant, we have a TON of great sushi options, but not many in southern Kansas. Osaki has the monopoly on the sushi game and thankfully they do it fantastically! The minute you walk in you are greeted and seated even with it being super busy! You know how good this place is with a full restaurant. There's sushi, bento boxes, teriyaki options, and steak hibachi, too. So if you're not into raw fish, that's okay! Bring your date and she will be happy! I order the Dream roll that's super DREAMY! Inside is crab, shrimp, and topped with ahi tuna and drizzled with sauces, wrapped in soy paper instead of seaweed. Perfection! My hubby orders the chicken teriyaki bento box and he gets a little bit of everything. It's perfect for his hungry appetite and the chicken was tender and flavorful. I feel lucky that our little piece of Kansas has a great sushi restaurant nearby! Definitely a place to go!

Very tasty, small portions in the sushi rolls, but I think I actually like the ratio of ingredients better this way, not as much rice in the roll allows the other flavors to come out more fully. Nice family feel with the staff.
