The coffee was like warm tea , not anywhere close to the taste of coffee! I asked the owner about it and she says “ ohh I went through so much coffee I couldn’t keep up “. Actually I say you hit the brew button on an already portion of coffee grounds! That is an all out lie of what her excuse was ! The hash browns were warm not hot! The pancakes were like the batter not totally mixed! Will I try again ? NO ! This place is a Joke! Hope you take criticism cause without it you’ll never survive!

You might not think the atmosphere is worth five stars. But I do. Not only was the place clean and uncluttered, but the small town vibe was exactly right. Yes, everyone turned when we entered, but it was a friendly turn, not suspicious of new folk. Small but friendly and efficient staff. Quick service, but not rushed or hurried. And the food was plentiful (we took home leftovers!), tasty, and extravagantly set up.
If you are NEAR El Dorado, the Black Gold Grill is a great place to eat. And I couldn't help humming about Black Gold and Swimming pools...

Ok, so all things fair, we all don’t have the same taste. Some reviews state the food is great and others state it’s horrible. We can only offer our opinions.
Food: we personally did not care for the food but that doesn’t make it horrible. You can see the pics of what we ordered. Should I go back, I would not try another burger. It’s been a long time since I have t finished what is on my plate, but I only ate a little over 1/2 the burger. The home style fries were probably the best of the meal. The onion rings were fairly good. The rest of the food was not seasoned very well. Overall, I probably would not go back.
Service: decent. But we may have gotten there after a big lunch rush. Service can be described as “matter of fact”. Not exactly friendly, but not rude.
Atmosphere: neat little place designed and decorated in an oil field theme. Roughneck mentality overall. Menu follows the theme.
Amazing fries, great service, small town diner you will love it! Stop by! Great food and amazing prices. You feel like you're at a friend's house having lunch. Do yourself a favor and check it out!!!

Rig #2 burger. Excellent grill on the patty. The veggies are fresh and the tomatoes taste homegrown. Real fries, not frozen. Good price on the meal. Excellent service

Eat here for the first time for lunch pretty good reasonable priced friendly staff would definitely eat here again. Would recommend it to anybody. I know pleasant place to eat and good food.
