What a gem! The building is small (and cute!) with two tables and a few counter seats, but we were lucky to be able to dine in. There even a few old photos of the building from back in the day which is pretty awesome. The girl at the register was super friendly, asked if it was our first visit, then made sure we knew we were gonna be in for a treat. She made recommendations to have a burger, covered the daily special (catfish), and alerted us to their homemade onion rings, tartar sauce, ranch, and cherry limeade… so we ordered everything she suggested! The cheeseburger was old school delicious and as good as homemade, the onion rings were perfectly golden, light but also crunchy and killer good… as good as I’ve had. The catfish came with hand cut shoestring fries and cheesy corn-mac — all tasty! The cherry limeade was a perfect mixture of sweet and tart — definitely not straight from the fountain! The shining star of our meal was the catfish… large, flaky, crispy, perfectly seasoned fillets. We were blown away by how good a burger shop made catfish. Even after taking home a fillet, my partner commented it was some of the best catfish he’s had… high praise coming from a catfish connoisseur. They have other menu item as and pie, but we were too stuffed… hopefully next time! We could not have had a better experience from the friendliness to the food… We’ll be back!

The burgers were as good as homemade. A good selection of food was offered on the menu. The lady that took our order was very friendly and informative. We ate in their outdoor area. It was clean and nice. There were bubble makers and sidewalk chalk for children to entertain them. We live in Wichita and we will be returning customers.

Old school burger joint hidden Gem in El Dorado Kansas had Fat Burger which is a Double breaded hamburger deep fried with mayo and lettuce, tomatoMy wife had the Cowboy Burger bacon, onion rings , lettuce, tomato, cheese & Bbq sauce. Food is phenomenal. Well worth the drive to just come here. They also have a bakery right next store to them open from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm m-w-f sat. 8-11 am. If you like great food try this place it is off the chart. Great food and awesome shakes will be back to try the whole menu

Such a great surprise! Awesome food, cooked fresh to order. Hamburger patties are hand pattied, fries are fresh and the service is friendly! Teenaged employees were professional and proficient! Restaurant has very limited seating - about 12 seats - but is known more as a take out restaurant. In nice weather, there are covered outdoor picnic tables available. Our family of 5 ate in and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh - did I mention their corn nuggets??Parking: Parking is curbside with more parking across the street in a parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Even though they only have seating for 12 they do have a high chair. There are no kid based activities but they do have a kid's menu. We had a 5 yr old and a 6 mth old with us and we had no issues.
