I was staying in a hotel 4 minutes away. Ordered on line, when notified order was ready went to pick up. Took me approximately 5 minutes, got back to hotel food was cold. Not Luke warm, COLD. Called number from text, yes they offered to remake, but I did not want to drive back there. Was basically told all they could do.**Was offered a refund. Thank you

I want to assume that maybe it’s a different version of Mexican food considering it’s in the Midwest. I had the Machaca which is dried beef with egg and normally just has tomato, onions and chile but their version had bell peppers and cheese. The flavor was not quite what I wanted. That plate comes with rice and beans topped with more cheese. I went for breakfast and I’m not used to rice for breakfast, Mexican plates usually come with cubes potatoes and beans but I understand if they are trying to give it their twist. I wasn’t to satisfied with the taste but still decided to give them a second chance and ordered menudo which is custom to have hominy which mine had none just a whole lot of chili flavor and tripe and maybe a bit of oregano. Again, maybe it’s a version of Mexican food that they sell but it’s lacking the basic ingredients and flavor. The one thing I can rave about is their coffee with horchata, it’s actually really good. And to be clear, I’m not disgruntled.

Easy 5 stars. I don’t know where else I can get basically authentic Hispanic food in such large quantities without spending a ton. Have never had any issues over the multiple times I’ve been there. Staff is always attentive and food always comes out perfect. (1/2 super fries show below)
We were passing through at lunch time and wanted Mexican. The food was amazing! I had the Texas rice bowl and my husband had the burrito combo. They were made to order quickly. They have very small dine-in but the food was so fresh and good! We will be back.

First time ordering it today and it is absolutely delicious!The flavor is insane! I got the loaded fries with steak! My. Goodness! I also got the traditional steak soft taco and its the largest I have had and the best flavor.Portions are fantastic.Delicious!10/10

So disappointed. Says they are open for til 12:00am. Tried calling, no answer. Drive there and they were CLOSED at 10:15. Others pulled in after us looking to order as well. Update your website if you aren't going to be open the hours that are posted

Love this place!!! Great portion sizes! And it might be a bit pricey but it’s worth it. Kid at the front seems like a nice kid he is just definitely too quiet and never says anything when I tell him to have a good day. Not really a people person I guess. Ohh and I never get any napkins with my order. ??
Food was emaculate. The costumer service was really really Great. It was my first in emporia and I had to go to abelardos. The young women cashier took my order and was very helpful. I am definitely coming back to emporia for more delicious food. The owner is super friendly and so helpful. It's literally worth a try.
